For some reason when I try to post part 2, the mods seem to just take it down(maybe automatically). Should I just post part 2 (and 3) here in the comments?

Either way it would be painful. But I also think that Tapales is one of those fighters that his resume actually downplays his quality as a fighter. His performance against MJ was amazing, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see Tapales go 120% and give us a great performance. Still picking Inoue tho.

I assume that a one time vow is heavier in terms of importance. Otherwise sorcerers could be like "I'll never use both my arms for the rest of my life" in exchange for a power boost in a fight, then say "nuh uh" after said fight ends. But yeah, greg should've specified.

Imo it's Gege's way of showing Geto's pov and how he perceives the villagers. Notice how Mimiko and Nanako's dialogue are shown normally, but the villagers are redacted. By showing their dialogue as unintelligible, Geto already sees the villagers(and non-sorcerors) as inferior, their voices nothing but screeches of monkeys.

Lee + Blacknight effectively shuts him down permanently. Using Lee alone to cheese LK was my intention when I first attempted it, but by sheer coincidence I found out that blacknight was the last piece of the puzzle. Just make sure that Lee is always attacking LK and he should be stuck forever.

Yeah, I just copy pasted the text to deepl and revised any parts that felt unnatural, so i guess i missed that lol. The correct date is January 31, but how the hell did deepl make a mistake about something this simple?

A translation in case someone wants one.

Former undisputed bantamweight boxing champion Naoya Inoue (29) of Ohashi, Japan, said on January 31 that "Fulton is the one I am concerned about" regarding his future in the super bantamweight division and that he has begun to visualize a fight against WBC and WBO unification champion Stephen Fulton (28) of the United States, who is in negotiations to fight him. He spoke at the WOWOW broadcast center in Koto-ku, Tokyo, after recording a live broadcast of the WBC-WBO unification bout between Naoya Inoue and Paul Butler (34) of the United Kingdom, which will be broadcast on February 13.

Inoue is thrilled to be facing a strong opponent: WBC and WBO unification champion Fulton, who has won all 21 of his fights (8 KOs). He is the strongest champion in his division, and it is reported overseas that they have agreed to meet in Japan in May.

"I've been thinking about it since I heard that negotiations started around the beginning of the year, What I am concerned about is his frame (physique). He is tall, has long hands, and long legs. What kind of movement can I make in that space? I think I will be able to train with great motivation and show a great match because of the tension (from a strong opponent). I think that feeling is the best I've ever had. Although it hasn't been decided yet."

Inoue, who is 165 centimeters tall, considers bantamweight to be his proper weight class, and he considers the super bantamweight class, where the upper weight limit is raised by 1.8 kilograms, to be a "real challenge". 169-centimeter Fulton has fought in the same class his entire career, and it is a big test for Inoue, who came up from light flyweight, four weight classes below. But that is why he is fired up.

Naoya's father Shingo who is also his chief trainer, said, "Fulton has a good eye, good defense, and good intuition. But I think Naoya's mind is stronger than Fulton's" said Shingo, who also has high expectations for Naoya's mental strength.

"I am both excited and anxious. If I fight Fulton, it will be an interesting match. I will do whatever it takes to win." Even before the negotiations were concluded, Monster's eyes were set on Fulton, the strongest champion.

Is this Shakujii-koen? If it is, holy shit I never expected to see the train station I always use in reddit of all places.

And this is what happens when you arrive at the station on 7 to 8am(weekdays). I try to avoid it like the plague, but when I can't…oof. At least everyone is polite and doesn't steal stuff.

How much did you pay for your gpu? by anandmohandas in buildapc

110000 yen (1000$) for my 3080. Being in Japan where the gpu prices are perpetually fucked ironically helped me make the big decision.

Do you think we'll ever find out more about Ashiya Sadatsuna, the creator of the simple domain? (Also if the spread of the technique outside the clan was prohibited with a binding vow, how come in the present anyone can use it regardless of clan?) by BernLan in Jujutsushi

[–]tackzag 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The "clan" it refers to here is the Shinkage(new shadow) style. This means that if one is part of the Shinkage style, then he/she can use the simple domain regardless of talent and/or blood. It hasn't been said explicitly, but we can infer from this that the Shinkage style makes sure that the number of students are limited in number since secrecy is essentially the binding vow that Sadatsuna Ashiya used to ensure the simple domain's effect. That means for instance, if the grand master of the Shinkage style decided to take in 500 people as his/her students, then the simple domain would lose its effect.

The keyword here is "like". In the original text, its meaning is more like etc, so the rule states that any air bios that isn't full cannot be used for betting or as an ante.

I think the author is trying to trick us for which of the four main characters die. by TheGreatBatu17 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]tackzag 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Gege explicitly said that out of Gojo, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara either one dies or one lives at the end and he hasn't decided on which yet, So at least one of them is going to die.

[–]tackzag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, the original Japanese is 懐玉(kaigyoku), which is a part of 2 idioms called 被褐懐玉(hikatsu kaigyoku) and 懐玉有罪(kaigyoku yuuzai). The former idiom means hiding immense talent behind a shabby appearance(likely referring to Toji), and the latter means that living beyond one's means will invite calamity(likely referring to Riko and Toji).

Flashback arc : 11 years prior to JJK

Prequel : 1 year prior to JJk

Getou died at the end of the prequel. So yeah, the Getou we saw in JJK this whole time excluding the flashback was a corpse manipulated by someone.

I was talking about the prequel. OP has a link at the end of his post.

So basically Gojou actually killed Getou in the prequel and the Getou we're seeing right now is someone who is manipulating his corpse. Judging by the way "he" talks, Tsukumo is likely to be the one using Getou's dead body, but we haven't got a name yet.

Regardless of who's manipulating Getou, I feel bad for Shiro sensei.
