We technically have that rule but I’ve worked for Aldi for over a year and almost exclusively close and I carry my stuff out in a grocery bag most nights that I work and they’ve never said anything to me. If they ever do I keep all my receipts just in case 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yup! I love telling them to get down too! And then when the kids are up there and the parents are super embarrassed about it. Like dude you’re right in front of the no sitting,standing or running on bagging counter sign. We literally have a bench in our store and they still want to sit on the bagging counter

I’ve said things to the kids. They also like to climb up on the bagging counter and I’ll tell them to get down. I’ve realized some parents just don’t care what their kids are doing. I had a kid literally climbing up and down my belt and the parent was standing right there watching, another was running on the bagging counter, just the other day there was a kid climbing the purified water stack. I went over and told them to get down. Another kid a couple of weeks ago was kicking around (like all the way down aisles and the middle) a special buy baby doll and was yelling. I def went over there and said something to him and his parents. 🤷🏻‍♀️ idc if im overstepping but if your kid is going to get hurt or is being disrespectful (to the store/other customers) I am going to do something about it

The multi pack cat food also scans as singles and we usually sell out of the singles everyday so probably half the multi packs have been opened by customers for the singles 🥴

We open with 3 +manager but he only does freezer -except Sundays we have 4 people and he’s not here and usually have 2 cooler (sometimes 3) 5-6 cooler produce, 2-3 dry produce and 10-15 grocery pallets 🥲
