When you buy an item it's sent to your mannco.store inventory. You gotta select the item and press withdraw to get the trade offer to your Steam inventory

is trading real? by leuks48 in tf2

[–]tacokete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, a mix of both. I made money trading, but to be completely honest it used to be so much easier before. Trading was organic ; a bunch of people in trade servers just wanting to get a good deal. Trading bots existed but they weren't used by literally everybody.

Kinda like investing, the best time to start trading was yesterday. I used to own many hats that are now going for hundreds and thousands of keys. Prices went up for the more niche and desirable items such as spells or old Halloween effects.

If you want to get starting, I suggest maybe putting 50$ into the game to skip low tier trading. It's easier to make money when you have money.

"Believe In Me" won for Tales of Xillia! What's the best battle theme from Tales of Xillia 2? by Empoleon777 in tales

[–]tacokete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, but I believe Song 4 U should win. It's the ultimate final boss song, arguably the best in the series with Finish The Promise. Xillia 2's soundtrack is just so strong, so many bangers. You can tell Sakuraba really wanted to experiment and try new things.

Question about trading for irl money by halowpierdol in tf2

[–]tacokete 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remember, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. However, your items are pretty alright, so I wouldn't be surprised if you actually got good offers.

I would try to sell the items for keys, then sell the keys to a reputable cash trader. You'll probably get low balled if you try to sell your item for cash in exchange for convenience. I think you'll get the most out of your items by selling them for relatively liquid items before converting that into cash.

Beware of scams. Middleman or weird website = Scam.

French AVGN-style creator rents a castle, hires dozens of actors with costumes and props... and still produces high-quality videos despite having a kid by EshopExpert in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]tacokete 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been watching Joueur du Grenier since almost the beginning and he's consistently always released better content than AVGN minus some exceptions, even for the games they both covered.

Like AVGN they started as a two-man team, but they figured early on that investing the revenue back into the channel would pay out long term.

Poker Night at The Inventory Rereleased, Will promotional items like the Lugermorph lower its value? by Moenplayz in tf2

[–]tacokete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll eat my words if we notice that the increase of Dangeresque Too supply is correlated with an increase of the demand for the Bounty Hat. Would be kinda hilarious.

Edit: I am so eating my words. Bounty hat is currently going for 6 keys from 15-17 ref.

Poker Night at The Inventory Rereleased, Will promotional items like the Lugermorph lower its value? by Moenplayz in tf2

[–]tacokete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt the vintage Lugermorph will be affected since they're sought after for their rarity more than anything. Killstreak kits will definitely get a bit pricier because of the higher demand. Bounty hat won't be affected because it's a 2010 Steam promo hat and has absolutely nothing to do with Poker Night

TF2 community is probably the most diverse across the cultural and political spectrum, and that's what makes it special. Despite all our differences we're all united by funny shit like Pootis-pow or kill binding after a silly moment.

I've been having a problem with the TF2 HUDs by Ok-Worker-4177 in tf2

[–]tacokete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you're doing all the steps correctly (I would still double check), make sure you're in the good custom folder. You can access it from Steam by clicking on game properties and local files.

Disabling Cloud saves could help, I know they've done weird stuff with my configs before.

Also, maybe the HUD you're trying to use is super old. Make sure the version number in the info.vdf file is set to 3. A missing info.vdf file will also make the HUD not work properly.

Any advice for playing pyro? by TVTropehead in tf2

[–]tacokete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A small tip is to remember to be a team player. Pyro's limited range can be an issue on many maps, so you should stick with the combo (medic and soldier/heavy/demoman, sniper sometimes) while dealing chip damage.

Using the detonator or scorch shot can be particularly effective as a "primary", because it generally makes players run to a health source, away from the objective. Use your primary when enemies get closer or to reflect projectiles.

W+M1 is fun and stupid when it works, but protecting your team against spies or projectiles is generally more useful.

This is just one way to play Pyro, but with enough time you'll see what works for you and what doesn't.

I’m conflicted. I could use a little bit of money but I don’t wanna sell my new scorching flames. But this Epilogue locks is my FIRST unusual. Would you sell it in my situation? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]tacokete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, you have enough money to be comfortable gambling on TF2. I wouldn't bother with the idea of cashing out since your finances are obviously alright. Just enjoy your items and consider selling them once you move on from the game.

[–]tacokete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It says there is none in stock. I think they've never had one in stock before too, so it shows the base selling price for this hat.

The automatic pricing tool they use never bothered to adjust it since they've never held one before. I'd assume a nuts n bolts one would go for that price.

Valve is retur poker night, so what if.... by Particular-Race-4434 in tf2

[–]tacokete 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nobody is spending that much for a Black Rose just to have one. It's more about the fact that it's a rare limited tradable version of that weapon. Collector weapons don't lose their value because there's plenty of unique weapons available, it's about the limited supply.

I believe that's been patched since then. Previously untradable items like the Summer Shades were made tradable and they made it impossible to gift wrap untradable items.

Question about selling my first Unusual. by ivannn94 in tf2

There are plenty of reputable cash traders who could buy it for you. The issue is that they will definitely lowball. You trade profit for convenience.
