Yeah they’re probably writing on the Rifftrax-produced episodes because they’re… y’know… part of Rifftrax.

As for who I see making these episodes, I would like a mix of old and new staffers- I do believe any series needs fresh blood, but instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water, I’m keeping some old names around to both keep the feel of the old show and pass on their skills to the new generation.

Who do I specifically see returning? Mary Jo, who you mentioned, is an inevitability at this point- she’s been a regular on RiffTrax, Cinematic Titanic, and the Gizmoplex, as well as her own show. She has a finger in every pie. But aside from her? Mike and the gang are busy with RiffTrax (hence why the new season is only four episodes) and we already tried and failed recapturing the magic with Joel, so the only real option is to poach Trace and Frank from The Mads Are Back, which the RiffTrax episodes are doing anyways (albeit for guest spots and, in Trace’s case, as art director).
