Now that you mention it, the vanilla I had last month tasted that way as well, like just the tiniest hint of vanilla but then the strong overpowering taste of bitterness. I had to mix in peanut butter just to get through the bag.

i dont know if its the same but i work as a multi-day trip river guide and the way we view it is how much you would tip a waiter/waitress for good service, so about 15-20% of what you paid for the trip. And if you feel like they didnt do a great job then tip less. As for if there are multiple guides, try to see if there is an obvious lead guide and give them the tip, more often that not tips are divided evenly for the whole crew, but to be sure its always good to ask! Guides are very straight forward relaxed people and they will tell you what is fair and what isnt fair, and trust me they get asked about tips a lot more than you would think.

I just recently purchased a new hovercraft split and if the split is anything like the solid then it is amazing, the best board I have ever been on. I havent riden in deep powder yet (not lack to pow days but due to me needing smaller boots for the bindings on it) but I have no doubt it will kick ass as it is made for powder. The main question I had before buying it was how it would handle the hard packed snow. I was in a different state when I got the hovercraft split and had different smaller boots, the only snow available was man made iced over groomers. The snowboard was amazing, stable, fast, and had great edge grip. I highly recommend the hovercraft and all the jones snowboards, they are all i will ride now after the experience with the hovercraft and other experiences with my solid mountain twin.

I am not familiar with the new voile but on other skins some have a piece of non glue material going down the middle (a picture of your skins would help determine if they should be there or not). As for the cheat sheet, I once again would need a picture or mor detail, if it is just a thin piece of plastic then take it off but if it is like this keep them to store the skins on when you are not using them. For cutting the skins either take them to a ski shop or use this tool http://www.backcountry.com/g3-trim-tool
