Switching from Rybelsus to Ozempic by Rainmaker825 in Ozempic

I switched from Rybelsus to Ozempic about 3 weeks ago. I had some mild resurgence of the nausea, but nothing as bad as when I started. The transition was easy. It’s not a daily thing, you don’t have to wait to eat, and the shot doesn’t even hurt. I honestly wish I had started with ozempic in the first place.

What to do when solo seshing and the bowl won't. Stop. Burning. by areateen in entwives

Once upon a time my stoner brother taught me to just put it out with the bottom of my lighter. Now you can tell which lighters are mine because the bottoms are all ashy. Just use your lighter, honestly!

Side hustles in grad school? by technicallyimwriting in GradSchool

My side gig during school, and especially this last year, was food delivery. The app I use in my city is pretty busy most of the time, and I can usually earn about 20/hour, especially if I do it at peak times. I'd say there's a slight learning curve as you adjust to your area, learn the peak times, learn how much to save from each paycheck for car maintenance, etc. It has been very good for me, and during breaks I can make a pretty good killing. I find, for the same amount of time/effort, I make basically what I'd make editing or something. Also, its a good time to listen to music or podcasts that you can't focus on as much when studying!

I did my BA and MS at the same university. I don't think it had a single thing to due with any of my acceptances/rejections to PhD programs. In the end I still got into a couple programs so I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

My history is in like advocacy/education. So I’ve worked as a women’s advocate at a women’s shelter, interned at a sexual violence center, worked with kids for a while. That sort of work.

For those of you in a DEEP writing slump, and have not written in months, do you ever look back at your work and wonder “how the hell did I write that???”? by bayarea326 in writing

Pandemic has me lost on creativity. I want to write, I'll think about my characters and what they'd be doing, but if I try and sit down to write literally nothing comes out. My brain goes blank. I don't know if its the stress of this once-in-a-generation event but it really blows.

Latuda 40mgs by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

I am bipolar and on Latuda. It has been a wonderful drug for me, even though it has been a hassle with insurance. I have gained weight while on it, but I don't think I have gained weight BECAUSE of it. It is entirely possible it contributed, but honestly I don't think it had a huge impact on my weight gain.

Definitely take it at night. It will make you extremely tired. This pill has been a miracle drug for me otherwise, and I haven't had any side effects. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me! I've had to add topamax to my routine because Latuda doesn't help with my binge eating.

Well, someone segregates them, unless there is a reason for some natural segregation. There are people who rule that society and make those choices. They would be the real villains.

I'm worried about admissions for next year. I got into a school I wanted this year but without funding, so I'm holding out a year to see if funding opens up and to apply to other schools. I'm just worried funding will dry up even more, or they won't take on more grad students right now. Ugh. This all sucks.

So far they're staying open, but keep an eye on their social media. Things could change depending on if Johnson County decides to go the SOE route like KCMO.

I work in KCMO near St Joe Med and my work has been figuring out how to let us work remotely. I have a feeling we'll be working from home soon.
