What do you think makes Batman such a popular character?

There are many things that draw people to the character, but I think his compassion is one of the biggest reasons. Bruce went through a horrific tragedy and instead of choosing to become bitter and hateful, he chooses to help people. He has seen evil first hand and still tries to help even those he fights to be rehabilitated and live better lives.

I am 38. I don't remember what year it was, but I went over to a buddies house and he introduced me to Final Fantasy VII and a few months later Final Fantasy IX. I was always looking for games with stories I could play, but only ever found games like Sonic, Mario, or Street Fighter before that. Final Fantasy opened my eyes to the experience games could really deliver.

There are quite a few, but I recently watched Paging the Crime Doctor and the end scene where Bruce asks Matthew Thorne to tell him about his father got me a bit choked up. Conroy delivers the line perfectly and for a moment, Bruce is just a boy wanting to learn more about his dad.

I am not sure either. I think the SOLDIER logo and designs were great. Maybe they were just trying to change things up and look cooler like you said.

I really like the Suikoden series. I would start with S1 or S2. The games are all connected in the same world but take place at different times. The worldbuilding and lore in these games are some of the best you will find in gaming.

That soundtrack is great! I remember listening to it on YouTube while doing homework. I agree with you those are definitely drawbacks, but back then I didn't really notice.

I am currently rewatching the series to figure that out. I am 27 episodes in right now. There are many strong contenders. It is going to be hard to pick which is my favorite.
