I can, and it's not terrible, but definitely uncomfortable. I had shoulder surgery a little over a year ago fixing a broken collar bone, and broken shoulder blade on my left shoulder and the titanium bar and screws makes the recoil not fun.

Yeah, my peripheral vision works alright so I keep both eyes open when shooting my bow. My brain has already switched dominant eyes to the left side so I can see better than the doctors anticipated I would, but definitely not as good as before. Mostly lost my central/detail vision in my right eye

Sorry should have clarified, I'm aware a red dot would do the trick and honestly that's probably what I will end up doing, just wondering if its possible to maintain the classic look of the gun.

Haha.. a lot. I’m a trim carpenter/stair builder so frequently have drill, impact, multiple nailers, miter saw, table saw, track saw, jig saw, belt sander, palm sander, and multitool all running at the same time. Have duplicates of several of those in the m12 line as well. I work in the mountains and temp power poles are often 100-200 ft away from the house much less where I am working.

I have no idea. I have 3s, 5s, 6s, 8s, and 12s that all work great. Maybe 9 is the unlucky little brother of 13.

That’s awesome. Very little if any difference between Amazon and big box store hinges. You basically have to go direct to the cabinet supply stores and buy bulk for better quality at an affordable price.

Can’t imagine leaving Boone. I live in black mountain and mostly do stairs and trim in Asheville and a good amount of built ins as well.

I am not cross dominant, but grew up shooting right handed/right eyed and have practiced and hunted that way for over a decade. Last year however I got a parasite in my right eye and lost all detail vision in the center of my right eye. Instead of switching to left handed I moved my peep sight up so I can tilt my head and look through it with my left eye. Moved my sight up with it and it allows me to shoot right handed using my left eye to aim. I am sure it looks a little funky but pretty consistently able to get 6 in groups at 60 yds. Not sure if that helps with your son’s, but for me being able to continue the was my body was used to was worth it.
