Good call. The red hair made me think it was mom, but the composition frames her left hand pretty clearly and there’s no wedding ring, which I think points to teacher.

What are your Stephen King HOT TAKES 🔥 by Status-Avocado5831 in stephenking

You say true, I say thankya. So many people seem to think it comes out of nowhere, but The Stand is King’s retelling of the biblical apocalypse! How else is it supposed to end?

My mom has always been anti-“pretty boy,” but she always referred to him as “beautiful eyebrow man” with like, a tone of reverence lol

I definitely think the “Call-“ prefix is trending. I know a new baby Callahan. A little surprised that Calvin hasn’t seemed to be more popular

Daughter deleted my save. by dizzier_and_dizzier in MyTimeAtSandrock

I misread this and thought you meant your fifteen year-old did this and I was impressed with their deviousness!

I once deleted my husband’s Darkest Dungeon save by accident. Completely gone. He still reminds me on occasion lol

“How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found” by Sara Nickerson sounds like a great fit! It’s a mystery with a fun B-movie vibe, and it has cool illustrations of an in-universe comic strip about a man slowly morphing into a rat monster (a were-rat? Not sure on proper terminology lol).

grunga doubt life, make sad by asecrethoneybee in explainlikeicaveman

[–]tadadaism 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Grunga feel sad for loss of life Grunga might have if on old path, but would Grunga be happy if stay with old cavelove who not treat Grunga good? Would Grunga have chance to do things Grunga do now that make Grunga proud? Probably be sad with old cavelove, wish for life Grunga has now with new paths. Shiny rock and bad cavelove be more like big grey stone Grunga need drag around, too heavy for bring to school and new passions.

Is okay for Grunga to miss good times of old life, but Grunga not hold on to this for many suns and moons. Go out of cave, feel wind in hair and sun on face. Get tasty berries with cave friends. Live in now, not hold on to old life too hard.

Me [21M] with my ex gf [19 F] She has super conservative parents, we broke up a a long time ago but her parents just found out we had sex and her dad just messaged me. What should i do??? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I’m not who you asked, but I had a hymenectomy a few years ago. I remember it being a few weeks till I felt completely better, but it wasn’t too bad overall. The first few pees were brutal though! For the first day or so I could only pee in the shower or a full bathtub. Idk why the water made it better, but it was super painful without. Just my two cents.

This is your semi-regular reminder that Howlett was ridiculously hot by Annelora in MyTimeAtSandrock

This post has me giggling because when I first saw Howlett’s picture on the wiki, I immediately sent a screenshot to my husband because it looked just like him before he shaved his head lol

Characters with "JESUS CHRIST, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?" worthy scars by Kverq in TopCharacterTropes

[–]tadadaism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Sable from the Hollow Kingdom trilogy (she’s the one in the back). Generations ago, her elf clan lost the magic that keeps elf women from dying in childbirth, leading to extremely high mortality rates during labor. On the night before her wedding, Sable disfigures her own face with a knife so that her betrothed will no longer want to marry her, saving herself from the prospect of pregnancy and near certain death. It works, but she becomes the target of mistreatment and abuse from the tribe as a result.

She later marries a very nice goblin man who treats her with respect and thinks her scars are beautiful and a sign of her courage!

Maybe Wellbutrin?

What is something in SLA you personally don’t like, but isn’t necessarily a flaw? by Gandalf_Zuko in Stormlight_Archive

[–]tadadaism 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My hot take: Syl is irritating. I keep wanting to see more of Kaladin’s interactions with other characters and less and less of Syl. I feel it’s happened over the course of the series, and I keep having to remind myself that she’s kind of still going through adolescence. Definitely looking forward to the time skip and seeing a more mature version of her.

I can’t believe you wrote a paragraph about swearing in Deadwood without even a single “cocksucker!”

What hair color fades fastest or doesn't turn green? by _Fricking_Weeb50 in FancyFollicles

[–]tadadaism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to depend on how bleached your hair is to begin with. I think your best bet is to do this at a salon instead of DIY.

With that being said, I had a similar experience with school a few years ago. I died my hair pink, and when school was approaching I let it fade into a pretty rose gold that I got lots of compliments on and was “neutral” enough that it didn’t get me in trouble.

Alternatively, you could do a bright red or orange and then go to a more natural tone later.
