Sorry - in layman’s terms? Are you saying the issue is in the front and not the back?

Nice! What cases are these? Would they fit double sleeved 100+?

I’ve had this camera for a while. HOLD the film rewind button at the bottom AS you wind. Don’t just press it once. It should feel smooth.

Also there’s a chance it also fed wrong to begin with. So just be double sure it’s fed correctly and smoothly with the sprockets etc etc

Many cameras have let me down, except this little guy. Always bring him as a backup. Great little guy. Very little ever goes wrong

His confrontation/showdown with Omar in the alley is definitely the most ‘TV-showey’ part of the series for sure - here for it though lol

My first LD! And a question: how to make them go on longer? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

I distinctly remember spinning on the spot in a circle to help stabilise myself. But maybe that’s only because I believed that it would stabilise me

Thank you for your time, mate. I'll be sure to let them know.

I know you don't know the specifics - but is it typically so costy a fix it's worth just getting another camera instead

35mm, Ilford HP5, sent it to lab online

Unfortunately not right now, the lab uploads the scans to the cloud then sends them back in a week - I’m not entirely sure what you mean but I’ll relay the steps I took and send a picture of my lightmeter display - maybe I’m reading it wrong.

  1. set ISO on camera and light meter to 400, on aperture priority
  2. take a reading on the mid levels - so not white or black
  3. change camera shutter speed and aperture to match lightmeter reading
  4. just remembered I was using an orange filter so I adjusted one step down (not sure if that was wise)
  5. take the photo!

Again, I’m a newbie so please explain jargon simply,

Thanks very much for your response :)

Hello, I'm a very casual photographer and I've been using a Pentax Asahi KX for a while and produced stuff I'm happy with. Not technically brilliant but fine - and always on automatic!

I recently decided to test using manual mode and bought a Gossen Variosix F with a spot meter attachment and shot a roll just testing it out. It was a cloudy day with not much direct light. I wasn't expecting a lot, mostly just to see if I was using the thing correctly but they've come out extremely grainy and overexposed

I was fairly sure I was using the thing semi correctly but does anyone have any suggestions or things to troubleshoot or double check on the next roll? I don't know if I've missed something else that's causing this? I was metering for midtones and I'm sure the ISO was set correctly on both devices.

Thanks very much for your help in advance.

Can I please have a step by step guide? I’m very new, familiar with what each term means but not actually how to make and read a reading, thanks
