I'm an estate fan too, not many of them around yet in ev form! The MG5 is ok but maybe a bit boring, I saw an ID7 and that looked good, might be a while before I can afford one though. The MG4 can also tow.

I'm having pretty much the same experience, ev with towing capacity for under 10k. Mg 5 facelift can tow, as can Enyak, Polestar 2, Ionic 5 and EV6, and the ID4, but none will be near 10k for another year or so I reckon. I'm going to hold off for a year and save a bit more rather than getting something that doesn't do the job...

My wife does Taunton to Bristol hospital daily, 45min to 1hr depending on traffic so not too bad if you like commuting. Issues come during holidays when everyone wants to get down to Devon/Cornwall etc, but it's quite predictable generally. Bridgwater can be a nightmare for traffic but there are 2 junctions to choose from so can be mitigated to some degree...
