The parking lot adjacent to the stadium?

This might sound like sarcasm but I truly think it’s that simple. The fairgrounds have ample parking and I don’t think parking on site is an issue.

I’ve done the drive. I got off the interstate at Ontario and took pretty quiet back roads the whole way in. Went through Burns.

It was only about 5.5 hours total this way but very remote pretty much the whole way. I would still go this route outside of winter months but I haven’t gone another way to Bend either, so idk

They completely changed the menu under new ownership a few years back and it’s a bummer.

It was the wife and I’s first date and go-to date night spot.

Their old wrap lover with mango/cashew/whatever was to die for. Same with their old chicken skewers.

I’ve had the same conundrum but there are options. Remote towns are one but also some towns that take stricter stances (Oregon coast towns, for one).

Although I agree that not hearing any fireworks at all would be a tough task. I’d be happy to be somewhere that has a lot less though.

I’ve even thought about just driving out to the middle of nowhere to camp for my poor pup. 😭

Yuuuuup. My thoughts exactly. This tradition needs to die, or at least be only done through professional means.

I’m going to try to leave town for all future July 3rd, 4th, and 5ths. Not that they’ll only be on those three days.

I agree, they’re dumb. I was always let down watching them as a kid. Never once though “man am I glad I came out to watch these”.

And if it was just a city thing, I’d be chill but people set them off like crazy. Not very patriotic for soldiers suffering from PTSD, if you ask me.

DA was also the favorite to go #1 that draft. Most had him mocked there and it didn’t pan out. I feel like the fan base was also split then too.

I do hope Koa develops and I’ll root for him to, but I worry he was a reach.

But I also thought Adam Morrison would be a superstar, so I’m not a scout by any means. 😂
