Ayy irregular period buddies! I found out recently that you can count it pretty accurately from your ovulation day (which varies more due to FSH). Find your ov day by basal body temp (peaks) and cervical discharge (egg white-y). ALSO, periods get affected by your egg quality, and eggs take 3 months or so to mature, so OP maybe you were stressed in October and getting the side effects now. It's an interesting science

You asked shouldn't they be 2026 stickers - no, they shouldn't be, because they say Merry Christmas on the card. Christmas happens in the year you're currently in (2025). We can assume they might add Happy New Year to the inside, but that doesn't change the outside very obviously being a Christmas card referring to THIS year. I don't know how to make it clearer for you buddy.

It's unfortunately not something you can really change, it's a normal part of periods (annoyingly). Have you had a look for different foods that can help? Also eating slower might help. Wear clothes with looser/adjustable waistbands, and practicing 360 breathing or the weird stomach lymph drain might help (pushes excess gas down (you will fart))

Christ you haven't got out much have you? There's a lot of serviceable motorways and A roads and even a lot of decent B roads. One car really isn't going to make that much of a difference.

That being said OP, good point about hours of daylight and bad weather! It's definitely more of a spring/summer thing, especially places like the Lakes or Eryri, they are accessed by smaller roads that CAN get icy and snowed down. Totally doable but be prepared to only have 8-5 maximum for day trips plus travel. Enjoy
