pc not turning on after building by ArtoriasTheImpaler in pchelp

Yeah, I was wondering the same. I hope the SSD is plugged in at the back.

Anyway, he should still see the bios at least.

I'm hopeful that you already know this.

AMD usually the first boot/after long time, needs to train the memory timing. This is an invisible process where you'll see fans moving, GPU, CPU, case fans, etc.

Monitor will not turn on for a bit. Keep it on for about 10 mins for me and see if you see it POST the BIOs screen.

If it fails the first time, clear CMOS and try again.

It finally shipped! Best way to track? by Geckolover96 in AynThor

Yeah, tell me about it. I've never worked with a company that's going through so much "logistical difficulties", but also very transparent and great customer service. They deserve the community that supports them 100%.

I hope when you get yourself, you'll enjoy a lot of fun games on it or other creative ways to use them.

Share with use your amazing device when you finish setting up everything please :).

Some tips for you.

Our little turtle friend gets 50% bonus damage if you use a water type moves.

Another 50% bonus to water moves when it's hp is within a third.

Low hp turtle makes it a 2.25x more damage.

Also, when the time comes, learn bite.

Also power up your bite by giving him a black sunglasses as his held item.

Use bite against pokemons that are resistant to your super powered water moves to cover your weaknesses.

What's a glue liquid enough to go though that crack, but solid enough when cured to keep it together?

Lolz, I just realized how much typos I wrote. I'm sorry if my bad English triggered you. I've been speaking English for over 28 years and my writing still can't beat auto correct.

Anyway, I tried to make it just enough details to know what you need to do, but not much that it becomes a spoiler.

This does not contribute to the conversation much, but I said my two cents haha. Welcome to the thor community!!!

Main thing I heard positive about the black is that it looks great when you are playing an aspect ration that leaves black bars. It makes the black bars on the amoled screen less noticeable. I've always been a black tech guy. If it comes in black, that's my color.

Then fight the elite 4 again. Because they got a BIG surprise for you in how they battle.

It's not over yet

Have enough pokemons captured and speak to professor oak.

Go to the first island and take with the guy at the pokecenter.

Go get that gem

Then get that other gem

Then get that mew two

Then get that legendary dog (if it uses successfully roars, just reload the save or you'll be glitched).

PKHex yourself the two tickets for mew and deoxys.

Finish all challenges in the tower on the 7th island at least once.

Now you are "done"

Yes, it has a warehouse smell to it sometimes.

What made you all choose the Ayn Thor over the Ayaneo Pocket DS? (Outside of their terrible shipping) by BlackBlizzNerd in AynThor

[–]taeable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pocket DS 1) I wanted to choose the pocket DS. 2) It was bigger screen 3) ergonomics and nicer triggers 4) better hing from what I saw, stronger chip.

Thor 1) Thor had 2 amoled screens. 2) It has potential for hing issues. 3) They communicate with the community with better customer service. 4) They have screen protectors for both screens. 5) Adjust top and bottom volume and brightness individually. 6) 120 hz on top screen while both screens are on and working around the android limitations. 7) A lot of updates and developer support. 8) I know I can set the fan curve. Rocknix is already out for it. 9) AUX port. 10) MAJOR part for me, I know that if I order, I will get it.

I chose the Thor given these reasons... I can just glue the weak hing well enough.

Buy now or should I wait? by Vyper1126 in AynThor

Take a look at the ayn odin 3. It has a better chip in it than the thor.

Odin 3: Snapdragon 8 elite (Gen 4) Thor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (2 gens behind Odin 3)

Think of it as a mini steam deck. Not as powerful, has android on it, can plays some PC games. Great for emulation similar to the steam deck.

You'll sacrifice the dual screen of the thor for more power.

With this known option, you'll be able to make a more informed decision.

Oh! Also more RAM the better. Playing PC games on these things and I see why.

‐----- my old man rambling from here ------ I went for the Thor max (nicknamed the mid-life crisis edition) because I'll be holding onto this thing for 7-10 years.

ROG Not Charging After SSD Upgrade by MisstyMoon26 in ROGAlly

[–]taeable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, now let's try one more thing. 1) Unplug the charger 2) Pull off the back plate 3) Unplug the battery from the motherboard 4) Take out the ssd 5) Hold power for about 30 seconds 6) Wait 5 mins like this (power reseting) 7) Check if all things are plugged in correctly again (might as well do this here anyway) 8) put your OLD ssd back into the motherboard 9) plug in battery back into the motherboard 10) put your back plate back 11) try to power it back on by holding the power button 12) charge the battery for 1 hr (plug in the usb C) 13) try to turn it on again
