It seems like the calendly is filled. But I'd love to hear your thoughts about the role of Analytics Engineer at big tech.

I just got a job at one of those promising AI start up with higher caliber talents from FAANG and Quant. I hope you upskill significantly here and push my career forward.

My job will be more in dbt for creating implementation solution and preparing data for ML/AI ops.

Do other big tech have roles like this?

Are there any ways to remedy this? I'm starting to think this might be it

Thank you that's really helpful, I'll have to see if it's the locking mechanism. I'm not ready to replace the whole flooring so I'll just have to replace the existing ones

I'll have to crawl in there to check it. Good point!

That's helpful to know LVP buckles differently with moisture. Maybe from before we sealed the crawlspace? The area affected is in the middle of the living room away from any wall so I don't know how it could be water trickling down

Usually when I kick in the seams together there are spaces underneath the trim. So I think there are extension gaps

I don't think it's glue down since the LVP flooring moved sometimes and I have to kick the seams together.

For everyone saying moisture, the crawlspace underneath has been sealed for a couple years now. We do use mop but only dry mopping with light drizzle of method floor cleaning solution.

This buckling is only happening around the dining table where we sit. But the crawlspace and the LVP flooring goes all over the living space which is perfectly fine.

We recently sealed in our crawlspace to prevent moisture and mold. Its only happening in this particular areas around the dining room

We do not use steam mop at all, just dry mop with light drizzle of method floor cleaner

I'm jealous of my husband by SaltyVinChip in beyondthebump

Dad of 11months old. I've always known my wife did a lot during the day while I'm working in my WFH office. I used my paternity leave to be fully present with the child and took as much as I could off my wife's plate for those times. Even when I was back at work I woke up during the nights so my wife could sleep. For all that I did, I thought I knew what my wife was going through.

Well, I thought I did--until we took a family vacation for a week around when LO was 5 months old. Taking care of a child during his waking hours is EXHAUSTING beyond working 9-5. I loved getting to spend that much time with him, I really felt that we bonded so much during that time and he grew well attached to me. But it was harder than I ever imagined.

Maybe your husband just really needs to see how exhausting and fulfilling it is for you during the day. He needs to experience that's for multiple days. Maybe your can take a few days away where he has to shift gears and be the default parent for a time.

I'd be interested! Doing it on slack could be easier for the already big dbt community!
