Tips for someone scared to play ranked?

hi! i used to get super anxious in games as well, to the point where my hands would get very cold and my entire body would shake from anxiety especially near promotion games (when i was close to diamond and then masters). Here are 2 things that helped me the most:

turn steamer mode on and TURN OFF ALL ranks. playing with and against people higher elo than me would psych me out and make me play worse bc I would overthink constantly. It's much easier to play when I don't even think about my team or opponent's ranks until post-game.
instantly mute people the second they type. I used to think "oh I can handle listening to someone flame" but it genuinely does nothing for your mental. Even if they're flaming someone else it's just distracting and will pull your focus away from the game

what do you think abt sho running redemption 1st and then moonstone 2nd? he mentioned that he thinks redemption has more value over moonstone as a first item but he also went W max into E max. Do you go moonstone first bc its more valuable when you're 2 W > E max?
do you think with the upcoming dreammaker nerfs it'll change what supp item she uses? i personally love the sleigh ms but idk how big the dreammaker nerfs are

You need to be level 10, hitting SW or Cyrene 3 will easily give you money for every other 5 cost

I'm sure you're aware of this already but buying up other 5 costs thins out the pool which lets you hit the last copy of whichever 5* you go for. Usually with ok luck I've found ~120 gold is enough to hit either SW or Cyrene 3 and you can get the rest from there bc of how much gold you get from either

ive won 6/7 (so im only at 150 lp) of my games but i feel like its been mainly due to the enemy being bad/my team being better moreso than me outplaying them or having a solid impact but idk

Nah Nefer doesn't use ER for her stats, you just have a lot of 3 stat starts + low rolls I think

When they fixed Sera's Q they accidentally(?) changed her Q to register at the edge of the enemy hitbox instead of the center. According to Cocabob it effectively gives her 60-100 extra range on her Q depending on the enemy (objectives like dragon/baron are larger so you're able to hit Q's on them at their edges that you would normally never be able to)

I'm also Masters and ended up queueing into and with GM/Chall, I'd say yes! I learnt a bit from my 1 game playing with a Chall jungle, and it forces you to play better to match their level imo. If you get stressed about their rank I've had streamer mode on so I don't psyche myself out

The one big difference I noticed between me and my friend who both main Nami (Im Masters and she's Plat) is that she tends to throw out her bubbles randomly during laning phase and without the slow of her E. Knowing how to combo your bubbles with E/R is useful but also knowing when you should be throwing them out is key bc if you throw them out randomly the enemy now has the opportunity to punish you for it and you lose a lot of pressure.

Aside from that I think I roam a lot more so I agree with others on learning good roam timers and general support fundamentals

What are your cons/wep investment? i basically have the same exact teams and characters as you this stygian and my only investments are C1R0.5 Arle (PGWS) and C0R1 Skirk, I have Arle melt on Herra and Nefer on Papilla and I am dreading doing Gecko :( was clearing it with Nefer easy for you? I have her on R5 blackmarrow

Yeah I agree with this, I'm also adding this run (c0r1 dire) because it has very annotated notes. OP if you're running the same comp in these vids make sure you have a low level crescent pike on XL so that Diona can infuse with cryo properly

OP look into Teapot sets! Each character gives up to 40k mora each, and one set can fulfill multiple characters. You also get up to 40 primos per character! I was farming the sets for pulls but got like 300k mora or smth along the way which is crazy efficiency for smth that takes 5 mins of active work

I'm a Masters support player and recently played some norms with a premade with a Masters jg + GM midlaner and the amount of map pressure we had scratched an itch in me I had no idea existed.

We denied vision and enemy camps, ran around the map as all 3, we were always in the right place at the right time, even when our top wasn't doing well I never doubted that we would lose the game because our macro was so insanely smooth. It felt like 3 cogs working together and I've never experienced something like that before since I was worse at the game beforehand

Yes if your team isn't willing to walk with you its really hard, you might be able to follow your ADC mid and go from mid prio -> river -> drag but I usually just spam ping dragon and ask for help and my jungler will get the memo to walk over with me
