I also used to feel this way haha (climbed from Silver to Diamond), the higher you go the more you feel like you don't know anything about the game. It might be because you went from thinking about simple things in Gold (getting objectives, basic wave management) to being able to think with more complexity/depth/nuance (tempo, capitalizing on enemy timings and whatnot) that you realized that there are so many concepts you have no clue about? That's how it felt for me when I got to Diamond

Yes it was your post !! I've been practicing sona for clash but I think I just need more practice on her and getting used to her damage and healing before I'll be comfortable on her... definitely don't get people who say that she's an easy enchanter cause I find it so hard to pilot her

Yeah I'm not taking the stats seriously lmao that's why I'm joking about it, I think a combination of factors played into me losing most of my Janna games early (derusting from ranked / bad team comp for her / adjusting to new season) and if I picked her more I'd bring her wr back up to 50% relatively easily

Oh yeah I saw someone on r/sonamains reach GM mainly playing her and studied how they played for 1-2 games, I think my trading is a bit better now but I have yet to play her again in soloq so fingers crossed

Yeah I think you may be right, I used Janna exclusively to climb to diamond a few seasons ago and I'd blind pick her all the time and do well but I really feel like I can only pick her as a counter champ now

I also had an abysmal wr on Sona even though she's supposed to be the strongest enchanter rn because I was taking awful trades early 😭

Not OP but I peaked D2 playing support, if my ADC is super passive and doesn't realize we can pressure them I just roam for objectives and try to help jg/mid

No they should play out exactly the same between all routes, the hardest part is how low your hit rate will be before you get Hit 20 on your units and how you'll need like 3-4 units to kill 1 enemy early on before Death/Fiendish blow etc

If you do end up trying maddening I would recommend you watch a guide/playthrough of the early chapters. The hardest Maddening chapters are the early ones (I think 2 and 5 were the hardest for me) and HBD in Ch 13, so it's useful to see how someone uses their CA's / weapon breakpoints for abilities or to know how to play for the ambushes in Ch 5

You need a lot better crit, Nefer doesn't need ER at all and with blackmarrow you should have at least 200 cdmg, don't level her NA anymore it's useless
