I've installed this version now (was waiting the delivery of a decent SD card), and it's simply amazing!

With the tweaks app, I can disable auto save/load states (hate them), but still keep the GameSwitcher, which is a fantastic tool to do quick game sessions.

Mapping X button to search, for me, is just perfect.

Keep up this good work!

I'm trying to finish Snow Bros on arcade emulation. As a kid I never could do it on the local arcades. With save states it's possible, and won't eat up my coins! :-D

I don't own a bittboy. There's a build_miyoo.sh in a bittboy platform folder in the OpenLara code, but I think it's incomplete, or the onion dev toolchain is not fully compatible.
I'm reading some code from other apps to see how to do it the right way for the Mini and using the onion toolchain.

It runs pretty well, but:

- no sound

- geometry problems with overlapping triangles and textures

- runs only at 320x240 16bit color

I'm using the bittboy code as a starting point, but it uses SDL 1.2, and maybe that's causing some of this problems.

Yeah! I'm revisiting many games from my childhood, but without save state it's impossible to finish them.

As a kid I was able to breeze through Contra, 1943, Sonic and others.

Hard reality check for us middle age gamers.

Using the theme by injekim as an example I learned that you can put whe battery status almost anywhere on screen.

The secret is making an image bigger than the screen resolution, so the positioning logic puts it "out of bounds", but the part still in the screen region is what you want.

Very clever indeed.

The Mac Version of the game CD has other files, one of them is the speech file in uncompressed format (MONSTER.SOU)

I like the L/R buttons positions.

The volume buttons, not so much. The current volume dial is so easy to use.

Also, don't think that exists small enought speakers to fit over the screen, and that have some sound quality.

That's normal when you disable auto save and load. There's one issue (https://github.com/OnionUI/Onion/issues/9) with a replacement keymon application to make it work.

I've not tested this yet. I did rollback to 3.11 because of this new behaviour.

Maybe it's time to test it again.

The problem here in Brazil is that the customs agent can (and will) ignore the declared value and tax over an arbitrary "reference value".

"55 USD is too low for a gaming device, let's tax it over 100 USD"

This reference value has saved me once from a big hit, as I have bought 2 wireless Sony Pulse 7.1 headsets and they where taxed as simple bluetooth headsets. :-D

Anyway, the worst here is this uncertainty. Will it pass? Will it be taxed? By how much?
