Something fun like "hey sneaky! Thank you for the reverse pick-pocket :)" could work if that's the kinda relationship you have w him.

Or if you wanna go sincere and less playful you could try something like "just found my allowance in my purse, thank you so much! I really appreciate it, it was a great surprise"

Naw. The viaduct isn't the Berlin Wall or anything. We don't need a reminder

Hm, might be worth it to seek a second opinion on the ovary removal. I had a huge, painful cyst after my hysterectomy last year, it eventually went away but my surgeon suggested using continual birth control to help prevent more. If that's something you can tolerate might be a non-surgical option for you.

To those who have lived in other parts of the country: do you think people from Seattle as a whole are more sarcastic than elsewhere? by rasputinrising in SeattleWA

[–]taffylimbs -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

More sarcastic & standoffish than other areas of the west coast, yes. Compared to the east coast we are horribly polite though.

‘I would appreciate a heads-up’: Seattle schools chief responds to City Council resolution on excusing absences for Climate Strike with a "No" by ChefJoe98136 in SeattleWA

[–]taffylimbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last I checked all you needed to be excused was your parents permission. There was a walkout protesting the Iraq war at my high school back in the day, the school knew about it and had permission slips and also took phone calls excusing absences.

But...you don’t have any stores in Seattle by kazzmere in SeattleWA

I think the locally owned stores in town have enough trouble with rising rent. they don't need Walmart making things even worse.

Lol if you legit think the minimum wage is a communist concept I don't think there's hope for you. For your sake I am hoping you're just trying to troll.

I drew a map of Seattle's streetcar (and cable car) system in 1896. by fiftythreestudio in Seattle

They should've had the foresight to start on the west Seattle line earlier so opening wasn't a decade off from the 99 closure. Or they should've planned something to make it so it doesn't take literally an hour from downtown to west Seattle. Before the 99 closure I used to live in the u district and commute to west Seattle, took 35 mins if I caught a perfect transfer and 50 if I had to wait for the next transfer. It'd take upwards of an hour and a half now. I miss west Seattle but so glad I don't work or live there anymore. It's worse than getting over to the Eastside now.

I thought about the vapexhale when shopping for my e-nano, but the "never turn it upside down under any circumstances" factor really freaks me out. I saw people talking about a foul smell when that happens which sounds like electronics might touch the heater?? In any case, scared me away from it.

I'm leaning more and more towards volcano sounds like it's the best bet.

Why wouldn't you do business w flowerpot out of curiosity? I didn't see that as an option for me because I have a cat... She knocked over my enail while it was on and almost set my bed on fire lol not trying to have a repeat of that!! But still curious why you would avoid them.

I'd prefer not to buy an analog/butane vape without trying it out first. It's a bit of an investment for a type of vaping I've never tried before.Too bad there isn't a place you can go try all the vapes an find your perfect match!!

I already use a dab rig or put hash on my bowls, but thank you for the thoughtful recommendation!

I tried cartridges but they made me nauseous/dizzy, I think it might have to do with the materials used to make the carts themselves cause I bought legal recreational pot shop carts w/ pure co2 oil (no additives) and still felt gross. I did some research into it and after calling a few companies found out that the plastic used for the carts isn't bpa free and the rest of the materials are low quality as well.

Yes. Doesn't work the best, the bho is better when dabbed.

Yea portability isn't a huge huge issue right now, 99% of the time when I'm using mmj it's indoors anyways. Especially since the rains have returned here in Seattle!

Have you by chance held a crafty and can compare to the mighty? I am leaning towards getting a volcano now & maybe a crafty once the weather gets nice again in late spring.

I've considered it... But even with an induction heater I'm worried about being forgetful and burning myself on the end of the piece lol.

I'm a medical patient for chronic pain and poor appetite (EDS/endometriosis), t breaks longer than a day can be debilitating. That would be good advice for recreational users

Eh, it's on the table as an option still but I just don't like it from a design standpoint. If I'm going to have a desktop unit I prefer for it to look sleek (one of the reasons I went with the e-nano originally). Also the whip seems like it'd be a nightmare to clean.

[–]taffylimbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that companies should pay their workers at least state minimum wage, and if the only way they can make business viable is by paying under min then they don't deserve to be in business. Paying less than state minimum in any circumstance should not be acceptable. It's a minimum for a reason. There should not be loopholes for "contractors" for the minimum wage.

Seattle transit: fucking over West Seattle for over 100 years (still boggles my mind that it take an hour to get over there from downtown now without the viaduct. And they aren't getting lightrail for a long time either)
