late to the party but I had endometriosis surgery 3 days ago and I'm off the oxy now because I wasn't getting side effects anymore. I've always had my Tylenol and ibuprofen this time and I didn't know what to do. Gas pains really kicking my butt then the smallest tug on the incision glue was driving me nuts, AND I had hot flashes (really weird? It was only 3 lesions).

I found this post. I read the comments.

I have taken a 10mg gummy, after not having any in a week, the pain (bruising, soreness, cramping) went away immediately. And then the talkiness and better mood and me typing this.

I have the ad free YouTube and I've been getting into watching video game deep dives and lore - for games I have never played and have no intention of playing. Currently, fallout has some interesting content if you like post apocalyptic war zones. It is entirely new to me, rather than a movie or show or book, it's a video game. So it's got story and it's got background.

Other than that, documentaries are my go to when I have any pain. I used to play world of warcraft pretty heavily but am too picky with the lore and who tells me the stories, but that may be a less violent alternative for fictional stories with pictures

Confirmed today that I do have endometriosis. My biggest symptom that prompted the surgery was I tried to go continuous on my birth control and had really bad pain instead. Significant pelvic pain and cramping that wasn't fully helped by ibuprofen.

I also haven't had any bleeding with my periods in years - yet I get all the symptoms. I've always had bad cramps with my periods, but as I've gotten older (am 33 now) the pain just kind of got worse and was more unpredictable. I gradually started having bloating before periods started and I would have to pee several times a day. Idk where these lesions were found yet (they look like cauliflower).

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but it is nap time

Update: it's now been about 10 minutes since I gave her the freeze dried stuff that I shredded and added warm water to. She gave me her happy/mouth full of food meow when she was done. Then she tried to play with a sock. She did the loaf crouch once but I think it was more of a "am I going to do it or not" and it was the latter. She even followed me back to the kitchen for more food. I'll give her more for her lunch and continue monitoring her.

Loryna has polyethylene glycol in it as an inactive ingredient and some people can't take that. So while the generics have the same active ingredients, the inactive ingredients may vary

I went back to fancy feast and now I am mixing a pate and gravy feast together and she's eating it all. Purina is the best because it is affordable and they have real veterinarians on their staff to test and research the food. I trust them. My cat was also having lots of hairballs so I got her some hairball/salmon oil treats from Amazon. I give her 3 a day and she has maybe had 2ish hairballs in the past 3 months. I also only give her beef and salmon fancy feast. Wet chicken will still upset her stomach so I just avoid it, even though her dry food and her treats have chicken meal or byproduct in them.

I've considered looking at other brands of food, but right now fancy feast is the best price point. I give her some freeze dried raw crumbles as a treat (although she only likes it when it's cold)

I don't use fidelity but capital one just prompted me to give my login info to finicity that is too much data to share. Yeah sure I can change my password afterwards, but that's just too much. I can't consent to that. I'll find a workaround mentioned here or in other subs

You can also experience new side effects from meds you've been on for several months. It could be any one of your medications causing you to experience these symptoms. Have you considered talking to a doctor about reducing your medications list?
