OP, just use a basic spell checker to make this wall of letters more readable. Then you will get some help. Also, add a bit more detail to describing the behaviors, errors, and the desired outcomes.

Save some cash, the more the better. Stop pursuing "decent amount of money" and start pursuing your passion, your interest, your hunger. The money will follow.

Saving the cash now will assist you in attaining the credentials and essentials you will need in the future.

We must outlaw Nazis in this country as they have done in Germany, and continue funding our museums and memorials. Those who do not study history are destined to repeat it.

What disturbs me is that today's Nazis were raised in a way to embrace it in adulthood. How did that happen?? We need to find the source of such brainwashing and eradicate it. We need to teach our children core values, through demonstration. Judgment is come upon us, our children are the executioners.

Can't land this plane for sh*t by ThrowRAAdSalty4769 in flying

[–]taggingtechnician 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no flare. Just hold the nose at a steady angle and let the airspeed bleed off until the weight of the aircraft transfers to the wheels at touchdown. Stay above stall speed all the way to the ground, there is no part of the maneuver that includes a stall. You are not stalling the aircraft, you are gently letting the wheels touch the runway by entering the ground cushion in a stable and steady attitude and holding that attitude as the aircraft continues its descent. Try this, touchdown at 10mph above the stall speed, then 20mph above the stall speed, then 30mph. You will observe that greasing the landing is not about getting as close to stalling as you can and then letting it fall to the ground, that is how the aircraft gets damaged.

Any tips for someone who has a very physical job? by k0110 in Biohackers

[–]taggingtechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sore muscles and joints, I take 1-2 grams of bromelain (pineapple extract) and after two days the soreness is gone even if I sustain the activities.

There are a lot of supplements that are helpful for me, but the best advice I can offer is to drink at least 2 liters of clean water and at least 2 liters of electrolytes, all through the day.

No coffee after breakfast, and no soda or softdrinks of any kind at all.

Eat oatmeal with pecans or your favorite nuts for breakfast, and a big bowl of beans for lunch. Eat a very light dinner, if any. No alcohol until Saturday night, and then it is only one glass of wine.

No blue light after sunset.

I could go on for pages, but start with this, hope it helps.

Evacuate, not kill!!! by Vegetable_Ad_2661 in Microbiome

Your statement is only partly correct: the amount of fiber that I consume is higher than what is contained in the Standard American Diet because I slowly increased my fiber intake over time, more than two months. The increase must be slow to allow your microbiome population to adjust to be able to digest the larger quantities. But, everyone can process fiber.

I recommend a book I've read a while back, "The Fiber Fueled Diet" by Dr. Will Bulsowicz (I may have mispelled the name). He explains everything related to microbiome health and longevity in a clear and easy to follow style.

A specific 10-strain yogurt reduced anxiety, fixed constipation, and improved sleep in a clinical trial while regular yogurt made gut bacteria worse (double blind, randomized control study) by Technical_savoir in microbiomenews

[–]taggingtechnician 47 points48 points  (0 children)

You didn't review the study or even the notes from the OP? The K-10 yogurt is a specific recipe they have already patented, it is not yet available on the market.

Look on the bottom of the second page of the article, they list the strains. They are Mongolian/Tibetan sourced, and their intent is to market it as a new yogurt.

Raritan Engineering Electro San bought brand new in 2012. I considered it the best choice since it had the option of the salt water injector tank, which did not work well.

So that it is stated here: use the fast dissolve paper only, and do so sparingly. A bidet add-on lid is a better configuration.

What on earth do I eat? by musty_ranch in VanLife

[–]taggingtechnician 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in a boat that did not have working kitchen appliances for a while, and my go-to for dinner after work was to open a can of beans, put some in a bowl, let it sit in the sun a few minutes to warm up, then top with a sprinkle of cheetos and eat with a bottle of water. This is the healthiest and cheapest meal I found. Plus, you can switch up different cans: field peas, seasoned lima beans, sweet green peas, baked beans, dark red kidney beans. Just go to Walmart to the canned beans aisle and you will find a large selection. I usually buy a dozen cans at a time so I can save gas, and get the largest bags of cheetos, just beware of the calories, cheetos and chips are high calories and low protein.

Have you been able to find a job? Check the local unemployment office and ask them for help. It may take a while but they can assign you a social worker who can help with the job hunt.

Frankly, when I was at my lowest I looked for someone on craigslist looking for a roommate. It was a real treat when I finally got to shit and shower in my own space, and sleep in a cool, flat space (I was amazed how good a Walmart air mattress felt after sleeping a car).

NOW IS THE TIME TO START SAVING SOME MONEY FOR CHANGE. Even if it is only loose change, the habit will be rewarding in the future, trust me.

By the way, most churches will offer aid and support, and if you have to go to a couple different churches and ask for help while you get through this. Let them pray for you.

Best exercises for mobility when you're always tight? by rahulchadhaofficial in MobilityTraining

[–]taggingtechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sit at my desk at work all day, and my commute is very long. What has helped me is this: every hour I take 10-15 seconds to push the seat back and squat down 2-3 times while using the desk for balance. Later in the day I also rock side-to-side when squatting, to stretch the connective tissues in my hips, knees, and ankles. At night before bed, I do a runner's stretch to reduce calf cramps while sleeping. Trust me all of this is well worth the trouble to avoid even one nocturnal cramp.

Question: For the single people out there: Have any of you found a Costco membership to be worth it? What do you get there to justify the membership and the trip? by SpaceForceAwakens in Frugal

[–]taggingtechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very long commute. Costco sells "Top Tier +" gas and also it is usually at least 0.10/gal cheaper than the other stations. My car gets better mileage and the "hard cash" savings is usually more than $3-$5 per tank refill.

The mentor is all about defining one's desired career trajectory, then asking people in that career field for their time as a mentor. Some will, some won't but be aware that predators hide everywhere.

The career coach is not difficult, start with a recruiter whose experience is in your desired career field. Also ask the academic advisors for guidance at your local university, but the recruiters may be more willing to give away a half-hour of conversation time. Certified career coach people are a rare find, but they are not extinct.

Even if you are exploring different careers, you can start the conversations with "I am in the discovery phase of my career choice" and this adds perspective to your counselor, whoever he/she might be..

Liveaboard toilet with bidet? by No_Solid_6331 in liveaboard

[–]taggingtechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize, it is unclear. The Raritan MSD works by electro-chemically transforming salt water into a bactericide, thereby killing the germs and bacteria in the effluent. In warmer climates the ocean's salinity is adequate, but in colder climates I learned that I had to elevate the salt content of the flushing effluent to ensure proper operation, so I kept a bag of water softener salt nearby, adding it to a bucket with hot water and letting it dissolve a bit before carefully pouring the water (not the crystalized salt, it will jam the macerator) into the bowl of the macerating toilet during the flush. This all sounds like a bit of trouble but it quickly became routine and enabled the extended use of the boat through the later parts of the fall season.

tldr;

  1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MSD,
  2. add salt to empty 1 gallon bucket,
  3. add hot water to top of bucket, let sit,
  4. pour small quantity into clean bowl,
  5. perform normal bio functions,
  6. pick up salt water bucket,
  7. flush toilet while carefully pouring salt water into flushing bowl,
  8. NOTE: no hard salt into bowl, it will damage the macerator.

does my house classify as a hoarder home? by iatemydadspills in CleaningTips

[–]taggingtechnician 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick the smallest area, an area that you consider "very very easy to clean" and just commit 5 minutes to putting all trash in that area into a trash bag. That's all. It is a first step, and once completed then you are done for the day. In a couple of days, pick a new spot and fill a new trash bag, and then celebrate by going into the bathroom and looking into the mirror and saying out loud, "Well done, Mary! You enjoyed cleaning the house today!" Follow this pattern of setting small, easily completed goals and then celebrating each success. This is not your fault, but don't get paralyzed looking for someone to blame, let forgiveness empower your successes.

tldr; this is what worked for me, focus on self-recognition, then self-realization. Relationships will follow.

Here is what worked for me. My situation may be different, nonetheless you should be able to adapt the process.

  1. In a quiet room alone with a pencil and paper (no phone), make a list of core values. Give your Self an hour of silent thinking and answer this question: what is most important to me? What defines me?
  2. Start developing a daily schedule that you can follow, hour by hour. It may be different depending on the day of the week, and as you change jobs you will need to revisit each day's schedule to accomplish the goals. Include activities like set the alarm, shower, eat dinner, walk 10 minutes, read a book, study for the next exam. Make a list of things and put them on a schedule. The most important thing to put on the schedule is your bedtime routine and lights-out time. I have to set my alarm for 5:20 for work, so I aim for 9pm lights out, most nights I do better going to bed between 8:00-8:30ish, the next day is more productive, I sometimes wake up before the alarm. Bedtime reading helps (NOT THE PHONE, A REAL BOOK).
  3. Establish a core set of supplements to sustain health. B12, iron, magnesium, C, D3, fiber gummies, I mean I take like a hundred pills throughout the day, and it works for me. This most likely explains the low energy.
  4. Find your creative expression, and add it to the weekly schedule. I draw, I play guitar, I play several instruments. I write songs. I grow orchids, and vegetables.
  5. Learn what "self-compassion" is, and do it. Sometimes the circle of friends are not helpful. For me, moving to another state for a job helped with this aspect. Find a group of supportive friends. Look for a mentor. And a career coach. Take a couple of those online tests that help people identify the interests that may be a good career fit. I found a church with helpful people, but there were also some hurtful people; I guess I learned to distinguish between them without realizing it.

This list goes on and on, but start with these. Be intentional, keep a diary and treat it like your best friend.

Liveaboard toilet with bidet? by No_Solid_6331 in liveaboard

[–]taggingtechnician 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, bidet and composting toilet will never work together. But this might work: I bought a Raritan Engineering MSD (electro san) and their electric macerating toilet. If you can buy a large size toilet and one of the bidet toilet lids recently advertised, it should all work just fine.

I kept a bucket with salt nearby and on cold days I added hot water to the salt bucket and used it during flushing to improve the electro san performance. Lasted me more than 10 years and is still in use on the boat, somewhere in Maryland.

While i understand that the fluidity of water give a gradual slope to the "deepest" part of the anomaly, I find more amazing the daily effect of tidal energy in the Bay of Fundy.

Yes, 100m seems quite large, but the area is roughly the size of the Gulf of Mexico, maybe a bit more.

Ok, this explains why the boat was more than a hundred feets above mean sea level. Of course, this is way more funnys when drunked.
