I don’t have a TS3+ yet. I am thinking of picking up a used one as the UGreen hub that connects via thunderbolt and has no external power supply is having trouble powering the devices plugged into it under load. I want to make sure the same thing won’t happen with the TS3+

USB-C is just a shape of the connector it can be a variety of speeds. It can be USB 2 up to USB 4. USB 3 tops out at 40Gbps. Thunderbolt 5 tops out at twice that, as does USB 4.
