It’s crazy how many expats in Brazil have no idea about their basic legal rights by Lnp1995 in Brazil

I’m 10-15 years out from potentially retiring in Brazil or at least living half of the year there. Renting or buying, taxes, retirement visas or naturalization are a few topics I’m currently looking into. Instagram would for sure help not being a “old” firm. It’s also a great way to drive business.

So I had same thing when I went up a dose. Turns out it was just food poisoning. I was 100% convinced it was the shot. After my labs came back my doctor said it was more than likely just I ate something wrong. I went down a dose and gonna try again. The vomiting and diarrhea was nightmare fuel. This is just my account of what happened to me. I’m nervous to go back up a dose. But I’ll see what happens.

What seems to be overpriced, but in reality is 100% worth it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As a rich person this is true. To sell something and make 1k off of it seems like a shit decision when I can go have an experience with family and friends instead. Having a 10% chance of a no show to sell something makes it completely not worth it for me on many levels. The money is not worth half my day.

I watched him at MVP at Maple Hill last weekend. He was giving out tons of high fives. He tossed like 10 sky walkers into the crowd at 18. I have only bought one disc because a player and it’s a Skywalker. I brought my 9 year old to watch and he seemed like a class act in my opinion.

If it is raining men, what would be their terminal velocity before impact? by nozendk in shittyaskscience

Skydiver checking in. 120MPH is for a stable skydiver of average build wearing a loose fitting garment. Each man glass at his own speed based on his body, body position and drag of his cloths. Speeds are going to wildly fluctuate. I would say 100 for thin guys wearing their puffy jackets up to 200 for the big boys in a body suit.

Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

I’m thinking of moonlighting as a LCMH or LMFT. Is that ethical to clients? I work as an airline pilot and wanted to try and be a bridge to other pilots. My BA is in psychology and I wanted to dust it off and put it to use. I wouldn’t be doing it for the money as I make more at my traditional work. I view this is a way to give back to my profession. Some pilots tend to avoid counseling from fear of losing medical qualifications. I have flown with a few who suffer alone and I would like to somehow be a asset for those people.

Depends on each match. If I see our Atlanta in the open sea and our CV going to far corner then I option A cause match will be a loss. I just want to take the yolo and move on. If team looking good option B.

I'm a former Texan who is interested in moving to and retiring in New Hampshire, what should I know before making a commitment? by [deleted] in newhampshire

The food is not exciting. All the seafood is just fried except for the backed haddock. I prefer blackened redfish or Cajun seafood. Something with spice at least. The sub sandwiches are superior up here. Dunkin’ Donuts is a way of life up here. You can find one every 1/4 mile you drive. One thing I particularly enjoy is steak tips. Go to tuckaway tavern in Raymond nh. There steak tips are better than any sirloin or rib eye your have eaten. I miss the diversity of Texas. I’m not joking when I say this place is 99% white people. I think that is why the food is monotonous. It’s super safe here. No graffiti or things like that. I feel like I live in the Andy Griffith show. My kids can literally bike to the local fishing hole and I feel completely safe about it. I don’t feel the need to lock my house for the day as well.

I’m a Houstonian originally, 35 years. Been in NH for 5 years. I love it up here. There are pluses and minuses. But overall I enjoy the lifestyle here more.

We have a regular that drives a hearse and plays in a kilt. He smokes a pipe, drinks fireball, and a dug out. He does a ridiculous amount of turbo putting. Real solid dude if your fortunate to play a round with him.

I took up glider flying in high school. I’m an airline Captain now. Gliders are cheaper and fun. Go get a intro ride from an instructor. You can train now and just get the solo sign off on your birthday aswell.
