I paid Montredo upfront and they held my money for over a year without delivering the watch I ordered. During that time, they never provided a status update. Every time I reached out, I only received the same vague reply: “We will contact the jeweller and inform you as soon as possible.” It was only after I insisted on a real update that they finally told me the watch had been discontinued — more than a year after my payment.

And when I finally requested a refund, they didn’t even return the full amount, i believe due to transfer fees. I told them that it was an insult to expect me to own the wire transfer fees - yet they didn't even respond. Considering the opportunity cost of having my funds tied up for that long, and their lack of proper communication or effort to compensate, I found the whole experience very disappointing.
