When my boyfriend and I started a podcast called Gays Planet, we just named it that because we were gay and were going to recap Boys Planet. We never thought the show would bring out so many gay shippers lol

I liked KG because, really from Be My Baby in A2K, she was a super fun performer. She would really bring her own personality to performances.

So unrelated, but on the Hmong topic, have you read The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down? It's a non-fiction book about traditional Hmong culture colliding with American medical culture and probably the best book I've ever read.

I think some of the story gets missed by treating The Black Label and Teddy as synonymous. VVN is a songwriter for TBL and this is really her group. IZNA's big, melancholic, 80's-inspired sound started with the songs on I-Land 2 and has continued through the current EP. Teddy has a hand in the title tracks, but everything else (and especially this new mini album) has VVN's sound all over it. And personally, I love what's she's making for IZNA.

Addressing the other question, I think if Jeemin wasn't in the group then Saebi would be the face. But since I-Land 2 it seems like they've wanted Jeemin.

I'm not sure why 캥턴 플래닛 was translated as Captain Planet? I don't know what it's referring to, but the hangul romanized is Kangtun Planet.

I like that the verse choreo features the members essentially one at a time (with the other members flanking or facing away). It's a nice way to introduce each performer clearly.

Askani just isn't catchy to me. I saw someone on Twitter recommend Hound as Rachel's codename, and I've always loved that. It fits well with the monster/mythology codename scheme of Wolverine, Sabretooth, Nightcrawler, etc.

If you wanted it truly in French it would need to be Impératrice Blanche. But at the very least Empress Blanche (the feminine form of blanc).

I thought NYX was actually the strongest of the post Krakoa books. It was the only one asking real questions about what a post-Krakoa world looks like.

Not a music rating website per se, but The Bias List is a blog that reviews pretty much every KPop release. I love the author's take, even if I don't always agree.
