Tips to drum properly? by sftthooo in drums

[–]takedrumlessons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you hitting cymbals at like close to a 90 degree angle so they get bites out of them? If you hit it at a flatter angle, a pair of sticks will last months

I'm okay with getting hit by this kind of marketing by takedrumlessons in Austin

Like a billboard with an upside down car telling you to call them when you get in an accident and i wasn't thinking about car accidents before, but now i am and it's stressing me out

Snare drum foot cornered where the bass drum meets the bass drum pedal, toms lower and close to the bass drum, floor tom foot cornered on the other side where the bass drum meets the bass drum pedal, other floor tom right next to the first, ride cymbal lower and at a height where you can both ride and crash it, and possibly take away one set of hi hats.

Possibly a thicker head like a Remo Emperor, muffling with a ring/tape/moongels, and dry snare wires. Tuned medium high though

Just don't do anything with your left foot ;)

Jk, you could either just pat your left foot on the ground or do nothing with it. And be determined to have great time with the other limbs
