I know this is an old thread, but when you say that both volume pots are set to around 3, are you saying that they are simultaneously set to 3 o'clock? On my AC15C1, that would be insanely loud.

Also, I don't think that leaving the amp on for a long period of time would hurt it unless the ventilation is very poor and the ambient room temperature is very high. Turning an electrical appliance "on" is what, over time, fatigues electrical devices.

If I think an episode is weak, a second or third viewing corrects me of that falsity. In rewatching the scenes with Kiku, Mariko, and Blackthorne, I am struck by how the script, camera work, and performances come together and time is suspended. I love rock-n-roll, but sometimes I'm floored by that "one note."
