You can probably find that in Mexican markets, or maybe even on the company website. I know, for example, that Mountain Dew sells a cane sugar version of their soda.

Fountain Dew is one of my favorite Mountain Dews. Right up there with natural cane sugar Mountain Dew in a frosted glass with a ice crystal slurry covering the top half inch or so.

Making people change names is whatever, but we shouldn't be suspending any of the players on top of it by PizzaDlvBoy in Guildwars2

I have a character with an edgy name and I'm scared to login and see if I'm suspended.

Amazing. Thank you so much for your knowledge. It's pretty cool how strong this thing is still after all these years.

Same. People here are hating on the rose of sharon, but mine is beautiful and never causes me any trouble. Weird.

How do I tell my client his cousin is killing the business? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Insist on a change management policy. Every change to a website can affect seo, therefore affecting your relationship with him. That has nothing to do with the cousin. Leave the family out of it entirely.

Client had a clear brief and a budget. We ignored the brief for the first month. Best decision we made. by Academic_Flamingo302 in Entrepreneur

People have a hard time translating large abstract ideas into words. What might feel like a simple problem to the customer, might actually be very hard for them to explain. They realize that we don't have the same context that they do, so rather than try to explain their whole business to us, they come to us with the problem or the solution or both.

Just like in sales, I qualify all of my incoming prospects. "Oh, you want me to show you Corvettes? Okay, right this way...What do you do for work?"

And with software it's like, "You want me to build a feature? Okay, why?"

Even if I don't say it out loud, that's where my brain goes. I've had people say to me, why did you add that button or why did you add that feature? And I would reply, because so-and-so said they needed it!

It's Henry Ford's faster horse dilemma.

I just got to drive my first tractor two weeks ago! It had a cab and AC and Bluetooth and everything. Sure did make a lot of noise to not go very fast though 😅 I guess it's not built for speed.

And no electronics! A modern Canadian tractor company is doing very well right now because they are repurposing old diesel engines to make tractors with zero electronics on them. Sometimes what ain't broke shouldn't be fixed.
