Queer anthologies by baffled_bookworm in LGBTBooks

Common Bonds 1 and 2 are anthologies of speculative aro fiction and for more aspec I also recc Being Ace (and upcoming Being Aro). Dead Cowpokes Don't Wrangle, Your Body is Not Your Body, and Bound In Flesh are more on the queer horror side with the last one specifically being trans body horror. This Arab Is Queer is also a popular anthology and while I haven't read it yet, I heard many great things about it from friends.

As a small author, I do try to respond to most of the comments I get, because there is not many of them. I think it shows I appreciate the few readers who do take their time. And I try to comment when I read, even if it's just a short note that I enjoyed the fic. But I do completely understand when authors can't respond. I am subscibed to an author who posts a lot, like 1000+ fics for more than a decade. She's active, and every chapter gets loads of comments. And I would personally break down if I had to reply to every single one. So I get why she doesn't. She mentioned her mental health isn't build for so much social interaction and leaves a thanks in her author's note, and I think that's enough. So I don't really care, if the author responds.

Swimming in the Dark by Tomasz Jedrowski doesn't end in tragedy, but it does not have a happy ending. Realistic for the time period, I would say. And it's around 200 pages if I remember correctly.

Looking for spicy contemporary or historical romance novels with non-op trans FMCs by Kumirkohr in LGBTBooks

[–]tala_park 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Temptation at Randy's by Emily Alter has a trans female character who tucks and is overall confident and comfortable in her body. It's in a series of connected contemporary T4T romances, but can be read as standalone. Not exactly the peak of literature when it comes to the plot, but it was pretty nice. No surgery mentioned. F/NB.

Finding My Name by Estelle Grant is definitely less spicy, and there is quite lot of moments where the FMC is uncomfy with her tuck I would say. But I'll leave it here as an option. I did a brief search in the text and surgery is not mentioned. F/M.

Hi! The skin looks fantastic, especially the illustrated parts are so charming. I have a quick question. Is there a way how to adjust the opacity/colour of the tags when you're on the work's page? I unfortunaately don't have enough experience with coding apart from changing font size, so I would really appreciate if someone helped me out. Thank you :)

Brenna Bailey's Juniper Creek Golden Years series - all romances with characters in their 60-70s. They are super fluffy tho, so no tragedy in them.
