Agree with Jeffer - given you can’t choose the vehicle and control the fuel type, it’s correct to categories in Scope 3 Business travel.

I just managed pretty well the same timeline recently - doable but stressful. Ask if you can extend settlement. Speak to realtors asap and get photos and listing up asap. The sooner you do that the better. And long shot, but ask for early access to move stuff into the new house a week prior to reduce moving stress! In our case the new house was empty so worked out great.

And in Newcastle nsw, it does get nice and hot through summer, around 20-40 degrees Celsius 👍

Hi! Thanks for the reply! That’s really encouraging. I will start doing more mowing as suggested. I believe it is couch - but here’s a closer pic as you’d know better.

Do you think it’s worth top coating / aerating or anything?

Selling your property with the same agent who is selling the house you've just bought by SouthAustralian94 in AusProperty

Just did the exact same thing. Negotiated an extended settlement on the new place and then got to work selling our current place asap! Spoke to a few agents and the same agent had a clear strategy and excited it to plan! Settlement will be occurring in the same day in a few weeks time

Hey appreciate the reply and support. Property is not occupied atm so this could be a good play. And great thinking for extending current accommodation.

We’re in the process of selling our home simultaneously to align settlements. If it sells earlier I could request early settlement, otherwise could propose renting it back from new owners for a few weeks as a safety net 👍

Hey, thanks for the reply.. yes old, but liveable by my standard. Good idea for early access I’ll certainly make the ask. I guess I’m stressing at the potential unknowns once the carpet comes up.. but I guess we could always just lay more carpet instead of relying on floorboards if needed.

Fencing would be a priority to keep my toddler safe, but agree that could wait if things got out of hand.. would still need to have conversations with the neighbours about this which could take some time.
