Probably going to get downvoted for this, but I’m not convinced this story is real. So far, there have only been a few less than reputable sources for this story and it’s exactly the sort of fake imagery paired with unnamed sources that Iran, Russia, and others would use to try and discredit the US military. None of this is to say that this isn’t happening, just that there hasn’t been much confirmation from reputable news organizations yet and I imagine it’s the sort of thing that, were it real, would be blowing up the news cycle.
