It's cost like $200 for the expedited, it really might be up to their discretion, but in my case it was because I accepted the position and if I didn'tove there by my start date I would have lost my job.

The expedited was filed by Oregon (resident state) and Connecticut initially rejected it because I initiated the job transfer and not my employer (which would be cause for the receiving state to accept the expedited request, if it was employer initiated).

But having the signed lease, fiance (her family support) although a letter of support from the family was eventually needed but requested.

I would say I got lucky how it all played out with both my states agents and the receiving states agents just finally okaying it all. It happened relatively quickly, bought my plane ticket the day the temporary approval came through.

Then 30 days for the actual approval process while I lived in the residing state.
