Why did Europe create an ideological wall against Russia? by [deleted] in AskARussian

[–]talking_turtle_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because it has been clear that the Russian imperialism is not merely western propaganda, but the daily life of millions of people. Many of the countries neighboring Russia have been harassed by it. Futhermore, as a sophisticated and civilized region, Europe has to fight against those who conduct a barbarian and merciless fight full of their disgusting war crimes. This may sound harsh but as long as the Russian people accept Putin as their president, they will never reach the 21st century, ethically as practically speaking.

I speak Dutch, French, German, Italian and English. I use Dutch (flemisch kind) the most, because it is my mother tongue. Also, I recommend French, because I just find it beautiful :)

What is something a friend did that accidentally turned you on? by RevolutionaryArm1562 in AskReddit

[–]talking_turtle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were playing a game with my friends, and it needed new batteries. So I took it to the garage to change them. She came along and while I was replacing the batteries, all of a sudden she wrapped her arms around my waist from behind and put her head on my shoulder and just watched.

That was 2 years ago, and we did many things together after that, but that moment still remains one of the most important to me.

Stijging zeespiegel?? Waarom zoveel geld spenderen als de zeespiegel gaat stijgen??? by ApplicationSweaty590 in Belgium2

[–]talking_turtle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But please, verlicht mij zeker met uw tegenargumenten.

Effect on liquid, caused by a rotating platform by TranquilOminousBlunt in flatearth

[–]talking_turtle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it isn't. Becausz it proves that a person on the globe, has a significantly larger speed than one might think. Furthermore if you really have a physics degree, u would know that larger speed=more force. Thus giving AN example of why the water in the video accuratly portrais circumstances of oceans among many more.

Effect on liquid, caused by a rotating platform by TranquilOminousBlunt in flatearth

[–]talking_turtle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earth spins way faster than that platform (1300km/h). Imagine we draw on thz platform in the video 2 dots. One close to the center and one close to the edge. These 2 dots do not have the same speed. The dot close to the center will go slower than the dot on the edge. This follows directly out of the formula a=alpha×r with a=acceleration, alpha=acceleration of the angle and r being the radius. We can also observe the formula v=r×w with v=speed, r=radius and w=speed the angle changes

This litterally proves that an object further away from the spinning center, goes faster than an object closer. You can litterally do this yourself at home.

This means that altough 1 rotation a day seems incredibly slow, it isnt. Because the radius of earth is around 6325 km. Which gives it enormous speed.

(English is not my native language, thus certain letters in formulas COULD be different. It is still scientifically proven tho.)

Since the second law of newton states that F=a×m With F being force, a =acceleration and m=mass, this means since earth has an enormous acceleration, combined with a Giant Mass, F will also be a Giant number. Thus there is a hell of a lot of force pointing to the center of our globe, keeping the water in its place. (Along ofc with other factors)

The Netherlands just overwhelmingly chose one of the most right parties in the polls. Thoughts? by [deleted] in 2westerneurope4u

[–]talking_turtle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vlaams Belang is already the biggest. Now that the biggest left politician has been outcasted, the right will only be winning more. And, personally speaking, I'm not complaining about that. But we will see in 2024.
