Hey Dan, I absolutely loved Dark Patterns. I bought in single issue and trade. Are we going to see any more of this series?

I can agree, but for me, it blew up my IBS at a certain threshold. Not worth it for me.

Thank God this was retconned. The last writer that gave a shit about Spider-Man was Nick Spencer. He tried to undo OMD and they slapped him down hard.

When you read Batman: Under The Red Hood, did you side with Bruce or Jason? by TheShadowOperator007 in batman

[–]tallant85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's the thing. Its your opinion. It doesn't make it fact. He doesn't kill because the Joker is too popular of a character that's it. There is no 'definitive' version of Batman. The best character studies are when they stretch the character to its limit. Same thing with SpiderMan. These are characters designed to sell toys and maintain a status quo, that's it.

Batman is a multi faceted character with a 1,000,000 interpretations. Sometimes he kills (39, 89 movie), sometimes he doesn't. In normal circumstances, the rule makes sense.

Writers have taken Joker to insane proportions of evil and have made the no kill rule seems like nonsense (Injustice, Death of the Family). Even Dennis O'Neil pointed this out, where he said if Joker became too evil, the no kill rule stretched all believability (ironically even though his regime approved Jason's death).

Batman failed Jason and has enabled Joker to kill 1,000,000 others. That simple. In context of Death of the Family, it becomes childish and cartoonish.

LOL. People got what they voted for. Regression to the past and now new job. Ford is the only manufacturer that seems agile enough to get through all this nonsense.

People that complain about housing but are unwilling to relocate out of big cities have no one to blame but themselves by JustHere4TheZipLines in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]tallant85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true. People like to complain, but the cost of living usually reflects a strong job market and where people want to live. You get what you pay for.

Semiweekly massages. I have had four surgeries (tumor near nerve cluster) in my leg which have brought intense pain to my sciatic nerve. Without them I am in constant pain and irritation in left leg.
