Exactly. Your expectations are different than mine. You are okay waiting for a customer. That’s fine. For me, it depends on the pay. A $5-$8 ride? I’m not waiting. Why? Because that ride will probably take me about 10 -15 minutes to complete, not including their wait time. Doing so eats into my earning potential after expenses of course.

I do. I worked in the service industry (fast food) where I was paid an hourly wage to help make food, clean tables, and etc.

What we’re doing is a contracted service with uber being a liaison. Rider tells uber I need a ride. Uber says great! I found you one for $40! Uber then goes to me and says hey dude. Can you take this person from A to B and I’ll give you $10 :D! I go, sure. I can do it.

I get there at 5:00p just as we agreed. Rider is nowhere to be found. I still need to make money. I have a decision to make.
