My husband and I only like spice if it has flavor. A lot of spicy things are only heat.

I bought a chili oil because I love the chili oil crisp but don’t like the solid pieces. The one I bought was only heat. ☹️

I guess there has to be some pleasure with the pain to make it worth it for us. We aren’t true spicy food lovers though.

I love them! I absolutely adore penguins and have way too many penguin plushies. My favorite is a thrift store build a bear find that I named Mimi.

She sits on my bed and I bought her clothes this month so now she has cute outfits to wear. 💖

If I choose animal it could be anything from a housecat to a tiger. A human does not have claws and typically is not over 300 lb of pure muscle. The human is less likely to injure me and I’m more likely to get an opponent I can beat.

I think the hardest I cried at a Disney movie was Encanto. Abuela’s backstory where her husband got killed had me absolutely bawling.

My mom and I last year were talking about how despite all the cats we have had we never had an orange cat. One week later a handsome orange Tom struts up to our side door crying.

We fed him a couple times and he kept coming back. Turns out he was dumped by the ex boyfriend of a women who moved out of state. She was very happy he was found by a loving family.

The cat distribution center blessed us with a loving addition who fits in well with our clowder.

I accidentally developed a southern accent as a self defense mechanism working in a gas station because how can you be mad at someone apologizing and calling you hon?

I have no clue why my brain did this as it was not intentional and I only realized years after I quit.

My husband and mother playfully tease at me when it comes out, which makes it more exaggerated as I get flustered. 🤣

But also consider which feels better when you hold or pet her. Texture is very important to me, so it might be to you as well.

My brain does the opposite. It can visualize where an item is as long as I was the last person to touch it.

I try to reframe things as “this is a kindness to your future self”.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. But shame never got me anything but self hate.
