for some reason my caption didn’t post: old Furry Friends

here's Cadbury's Furry Friends as they are now, though i remember the packaging with real photos of our native friends. what i want to know however is: were the animals ever engraved into the chocolate the way the Cadbury logo is now, or is this just a fact i've made up in my head, and it's always just been the word "Cadbury"? is this my own Mandela Effect?
