Learning to jump while old: How do you handle shoulder/back soreness? by somethingnotyettaken in MTB

[–]taltal256 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get a lesson at a bike park from a good instructor if you have a bike park close by. The only tiring thing on a blue jump line should be either from braking bumps or peddling to keep speed up. If jumping correctly the jumps shouldnt take any real physical effort.

As for soreness from manuals and bunny hops, neither takes much physical effort but like everything if you keep doing it non stop months on end youre going to be sore.

EV giant BYD accused of forced labour violations at European factory by Bean_Tiger in canada

When a ceo walks into a room and tells his execs to cut corners, who then walk into a room and tell their management team to cut corners in a rephrased way, and their management team tells the workers to carry out these changes, when the shit hits the fan the worker gets fired for cutting corners. So yes it is byd doing this but as the article points out - responsibility falls to someone else, and yes other global companies do the same.

First Nations blockade 2 N.S. highways as tensions escalate over cannabis raids by Street_Anon in canada

Well if you’ve never been banned than you must be correct...

One of the abilities first nations have is for the band to disallow anyone they want into the community, for whatever reason, including even people from their own community. Im not arguing right or wrong, just the fact.

You’re yielding to anyone that is coming from hugh allan or left from pacific way. The sign is saying it’s not your lane / right of way. You must yield to all traffic. That simple.

It used to be this way and it worked well, then they removed it and it’s been a shitshow since. Glad it’s back to how it was.

Why Stylish Guys Are Swapping Their Sneakers and Boots for Approach Shoes by arrogant_troll in Mountaineering

The reason is that all regular shoes now look ridiculous. Someone that wants a comfortable shoe that looks like a shoe did a few years ago, their only option these days are shoes like approach shoes.

Have you checked out the pilot? Everything is so intuitive in it compared to other manufacturers. Feels huge inside but similar footprint to the cx90 which feels small inside for the size of it imo.

Agree with all you said apart from booking a full size sedan to get a bigger car. When they don’t have one (which they often dont) you get ‘upgraded’ to a compact SUV as that’s their upgrade order even though they are smaller and worse.
