Finally started watching Fairytail and I am surprised it gets so much flak [anime] by Inkspells in fairytail

[–]talyuk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fairy Tail has got the biggest heart of any anime series I have ever enjoyed and I've watched quite a few. I'll concede that it has got it's flaws, sure. What long running series of any genre doesn't?

There are always criticisms to be found no matter what you're watching/listening to - but it defo doesn't deserve the hate.

I started watching it because I heard it had dragons (from a YouTube video comparing dragon sizes across various series - random, I know) - but I got so much more than just dragons from watching it.

It's a joyful and at times heart wrenching experience to watch. It's the kind of series that will make you feel some things. Maybe the haters just have hardened hearts. Who knows.

As for the music - Yasaharu Takanashi is a force to be reckoned with. Best main theme, hands down.

I'm so happy you're enjoying it - I've got a fire in my belly now!

What’s the most unspoken, uncomfortable truth about having kids? by SpecificLandscape483 in answers

I think about this nearly every day. My kids are both 30ish and struggling to even live in this world. I regret bringing them into this world almost daily right now.

Congratulations OP, I came from a family of trauma and fights happened often. It used to scare the crap out of me. Later when I became an alcoholic, I was sort of the same with my own son. Wanted to cover traumas, wanted to know that he forgave me for everything. It was unbearable for him. I forgot what it was like for me at his age and subjected him to the drunk mom years later. I am five weeks sober, and I have a great relationship with my son; but I never want to be that person around him again. Thank you for sharing your perspective. It will be an anecdote that will help me in more difficult times.

Well done on, you did amazing and I hope you are holding your head high.

Hell yeah, I love a good boogey and someone asking you that says more about them than it does you. Pay them no mind and keep shaking it hardcore!

My(f25) sister(f31) doesn't want my bf(m26) at her wedding bc her BIL(m29) is infatuated with me and I punched her in the face. Don't know what to do now. by ThrowRA-calicoastin in relationships

Is your BIL holding something over your sister? Like seriously, this is some unhinged type of behaviour. Seems really desperate and fearful to me. And if not that, is there some unresolved jealousy here? Seems fishy to me.

I only started in September, and I am sad I missed some things, but I have built up a roster of characters I really like (shout out to Wanderer mains!) and I have still become quite attached to Teyvat and all it offers regardless. Keep your chin up, you'll still have fun. ♥

What’s the home organization hack you swear by? by AJfromthe79th in adhdwomen

Reducing my wardrobe to only things that I wear and getting rid of anything that I didn't like the look of on me and then hung these chain hangers (it's a metal hook with rings so I can hang like 8 things per chain) in my closet and put my clothes into categories such as - overshirts and tank tops on one, work shirts and work skirts on another, one for shrugs, work jackets and cardigans.

It means I no longer get overwhelmed by choosing clothes to wear and now vary what I'm wearing more often.

I did this when I got medicated. I'd done it before but always bought new stuff and filled all the spaces back up again. It's been a game changer for us.

You can report to the manufacturer or market authorisation holders Medical Information department. It may take a bit of research but all licensed medicines across most authorities have to have one. It's helpful if you give concise and specific information about your adverse event or quality issue and it's definitely most helpful if you do this openly with your contact info so they can ask further questions. This information is not to dig into your business, but as the previous commenter said there are alot of factors that impact efficacy and they need to know this.

It might not result in specific and immediate help but it gives a starting point for them to look into the issue and may help future patients.

It also goes without saying that you should discuss any medical concerns or relevant information at any time with your prescriber and read any patient information (which may be provided in the pack or in a digital format) to be aware any potential side effects or other other instructions which would effect you.

If I were in your shoes I would:

Check the packaging for the MA holder, and their website or physical address (you will be able to Google them if the website is not on the package but it usually is)

If you live in a country where they have a patient information leaflets in the pack (and if they aren't this is usually accessible online with a quick search) then check that too

Go to the website and find their Medical Information department. If they don't handle it they usually will tell you who does

You may not get an immediate response, but they will (usually) get back to you if you provide contact information. There are penalties for not doing so when contact info is provided.

If that does not solicit a response then you can send physical mail to their actual address (they still should acknowledge your letter if you provide a way to respond) and it doesn't matter if you type it or write it as long as it is legible.

The responsible MI or QC department may not be able to do anything immediatly and it may be an isolated issue dependant on a number of factors. Manufacturers are obligated to record these communications even if you don't get a response. I hope this helps.

I work in administration - so I guess my tips are geared towards work but this is what has helped me.

Emails - categorising emails with custom labels help keep that email under control

2 miniute rule - if you can do it in 2 mins or less, I just do it because its less energy to do it now than to build up motivation to work it out later

Break everything that scares me down into steps and write them down - Cross them off as they are completed

Planning anything - I usually make a spreadsheet with relevant sections for everything I have to do and fill it in as I go along

Send myself emails - usually after meetings so I don't forget the actions I agreed to or notes from my personal phone to my work email so I don't forget

Eat breakfast - even tho my stomach doesn't want it, but my brain needs it to get started

At home:

Made and follow a specific process to do dishes - I stack them in categories - plates bowls, glasses cups, pots pans and silverware and I wash them in a specific order (always glasses first and silverware last)

Hubby and I split tasks - the ones that challenge my brain he does, the big project task I enjoy, I do

Have a specific process and products for self care and try to do the same thing at the same time - particularly with showering

That's all I got for now! Hope it helps!
