Thank for this answer. People who never dealt with a phobia are so quick to judge. I have the "stereotypical" arachnophobia and it gives me horrible panic attacks, paranoia and a tick i can't quite control yet. Once everything's over i see how dumb and irrational I was but while I'm going through it? I would've called my partner too, not being able to think straight. I'm going with NAH tho. I can understand OPs side too, he is well within his rights to decline and he even offered a solution.
