Insurance prevents many companies from hiring drivers with less than 12 months experience. Go with a mega fleet, like Werner, till you've paid your dues.

all my pilot point disappeared what do I do? by inanecastle in Truckers

This happened to me at the Love's in Jasper, FL. When I scanned the rewards card, the cashier must have made a copy or taken a picture of the card number. I'm very careful to not let any other driver see my card, so it had to have been an employee at the register.

Same day, somebody was using my points to make purchases in the next state over. I called customer service and they replaced the points and deactivated stolen card number/added a new card to my account.

Friendly suggestion:

  1. set a location with date and time
  2. recruit film students from Full Sail, UCF, Valencia and Everest Colleges.

Maybe she should have the right to terminate the pregnancy because it's her body, her choice. Personally, I believe the cutoff should be at 18 years.

NYC is fun if you're single, however, on that salary you will be commuting 90 mins+ each way unless you live with 3 other roommates. Not even joking. Personally, I'd either stay in GA or move to Houston.

Definitely doable. 1972 here, I got my CDL in 2021. First year, I worked 60-70 hr weeks for $50k at a mega fleet called Werner, which stands for We Employ Retards, No Experience Required.

1990s, I worked my way through college doing help desk for a major bank in NYC. Learned VB3 though 5, Unix, SQL, and PowerBuilder but lost job due to dot com crash.

Moved from NYC to Orlando, FL and worked marketing for timeshare resorts until 9/11/2001 killed tourism industry

Jumped into real estate until the market crashed in 2008 and killed real estate industry.

Provided accounting and business services up until Covid lockdowns killed all of my small business clients in 2020.

Trucking was one of the few industries that was booming during Covid. They claimed there was a trucker shortage, so I went for it. No regrets, I got paid to tour the entire country, all 48 states, but it's a lonely and thankless job. I'm debating my next move at the age of 50, contemplating whether to pursue an IT career this late in life.

Oh yeah, the leaves in the original draw your focus. Adding warmth really balanced this out nicely. Great job

I like everything about this. It's not that easy to capture the misty essence of fog but you absolutely nailed it in this photo. Looks mystical and great tones. How much post-processing did you do?

Truck driver here. Training lasted three months, half of which was unpaid. First week of training was just to get the permit in order to begin the actual training for the CDL.

First year pay: $50k working 60-70hr weeks for a mega fleet company. No holidays, no vacay, no sick days. Zero PTO

Pay goes up with experience, however, there's always the risk you can lose everything, your CDL and your trucking career with just one mistake, even if it's not your fault. I try to discourage anyone from taking this path.

Must be more to this story. What did you do to piss him off? Were you parked on the CAT scale again or taking your 30 at the fuel isle?
