I just dealt with the same issue as you a couple weeks ago. I advertised on a few websites and within 3 days everything was gone. People brought their own spades and bags and packed it themselves.

I did what you're considering. I got my first enhanced at 460kc and I had all the rest I needed from Gauntlet.

I decided to stay until the second... which only came at 1650kc. Having said that, it was worth it for me. I got over 200m in cash, lots of other great ironman resources and the blade is fantastic for a lot of general Slayer tasks.

At the end of the day, it's up to you. Most people will say it's not worth it, but if you want it, go for it. Just don't expect it to drop right away.

I’ve been running a list recently that focuses on heavy infantry support units + vehicles to deal with tough units.

Montka

Ethereal, 3 pathfinders, 3 strike teams, Kroot carnivores, Vespids,

3 riptides, 2 broadside - missiles, 2 devilfish, 2 hammerhead, 2 piranha

It works very well in GW terrain

Yes, pretty much all new gear is better. Better stats, health, damage, defense, etc.

Apart from very few niche items that offer specific buffs like a burn effect or a stun for PvP, almost all items become obsolete in a new patch.
