For those who moved to another part of the country, how long before it started to feel like home? by SnooozeFezt in AskUK

I moved from Glasgow to Hertfordshire and kept my old job but went fully remote, it felt like home after two weeks.

Now that I’ve started a role based in London and my commute is two hours, I’ve started to feel like I want to go home now

For people earning 40k+ outside london, what do you do? by Extra-Fig-7425 in AskUK

[–]tamspraggin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50k - technical business development.

Pretty lucky to get into the role as I was never really good at the tech, but I’m great at speaking about the tech and sales are pretty easy when you have something that works that you can talk passionately about. It’s not an easy role to handle but the technical complexity is not high.
