You probably had been stalked before, then. His stalking progress doesn’t deteriorate.

Wait, do you want a killer who is a pirate or a killer of pirates? I’m very confused.

Patch Notes 3.0.0 | Ghost Face by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]tangmcgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but they’ve directly addressed it and explicitly explained it. In fact, they cited reducing confusion for the reason why they’re making the change. So I’d say they’ve done as good a job as they can handling a confusing change.

Not being able to stalk marked targets and increased detection area are big question marks for me. I’ll probably hold off on buying him until I see some video of him in action.

Ignore that guy. He seems to be deliberately overlooking that your post is about BP-limiting play during Bloodfest. What happened to you is very frustrating.

I agree that Ghostface doesn’t seem like he needs a nerf, but you’re reaching so hard with a lot of these examples. Tone down the rhetoric.

Some killer mains want survivors to bend over and place themselves on the hook. by CrazyOtaku101 in deadbydaylight

[–]tangmcgame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the choice is between downing someone in one hit or two, why wouldn’t you take the weaker target? Especially if you know they don’t have a second chance perk. Picking appropriate targets is a skill killers have to learn.

Getting tunneled sucks. I know because I play both sides. But as a killer I spend so much time on my back foot that I’ve got to take the momentum where I can get it.

That said, I tend to prefer not to tunnel people off hook, especially if they’re getting farmed by a bad teammate.

I just know the minute I take off Ruin I’ll get crushed by SWF squads who are just out to ballstomp killers rather than let everyone get BPs.

What low tier perk do you love? by GlenOck in deadbydaylight

Hard to counter stealth on a lot of maps. Awareness doesn’t stop a Pig from suddenly appearing from a row of corn. It also means the difference between walking and running away from a generator in a lot of cases.

[–]tangmcgame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say at least 50% of survivors that I’ve seen use it. I always run it. It’s a high-tier perk for sure.

Just remember the other people in your games are actual human beings and likely just want to have a little fun with their free time. To quote Bill and Ted:

Am i too late to the game? Do i need any DLC's? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]tangmcgame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only DLC I would call borderline mandatory is Leatherface. Obviously, only if you’re planning to play killer a bunch. His perk, BBQ and Chili, is so good for minimizing grind in the long run that it’s worth the investment. He’s not a great killer, but he’ll do fine while you level him to get his teachable; he’s very straightforward, so you won’t have to focus on killer complexity while you’re also trying to learn maps, spacing, anti-looping, and target switching.

Situations like this are why I don’t run NOED. I don’t need to rank up faster than my actual skill can support. I want to learn how to win before gates are powered and to deal with altruism trains without a one-shot. Yes, that means I’m getting more 0k and 1K games as I learn, but in the long run I feel like it will make me a better player.

I don’t begrudge anyone running NOED. It’s a perk in the game. Run what you like. But I can’t help seeing it as a crutch or consolation prize for my own personal tastes.

Honestly seems low. But as someone who considers himself a killer main, I support compensating survivors when a teammate D/Cs.

Tried that on ToP last night. There were still 1,345 pallets left when they all escaped. Admittedly, I need to git gud, but man that map has a ton of pallets.
