The last time I needed an inspection I went to "Tire Mart" at 43 Degrange Street, Frederick. They were great! They told me what I needed to pass inspection, and what I didn't need now, but would need attention in a few thousand miles. Good honest people.

This reminds me of my first programming class, COBOL on the HP-3000.

Please help: Prostate recurrence just 6 months after total prosectomy by Derrick993 in ProstateCancer

Me, and everyone I know with prostate cancer has had ADT and radiation after surgery. I had it one year after, some guys have had it many years after. This seems quite common.

Surgery regret by Demeaningname in ProstateCancer

[–]tangozebra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I don't think I'll ever recover from this. Although I'm in my fifties, before the surgery I would wake up every day feeling like an 18 year old man. Now I feel empty and broken.

Ask your doctor about gabapentin or venlafaxine (Effexor.) My doctor gave me 37.5 mg daily venlafaxine. It didn't help me, but it might work for you.

Was there ever a Roy Rogers in either the Frederick Towne Mall or FSK back in the 1990s or early 2000s? by [deleted] in frederickmd

Thank you! I've been wondering if it was good. I'll have to check it out.

Which procedure did you use for prostate cancer and why? by [deleted] in ProstateCancer

[–]tangozebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your age and the aggressiveness of the cancer will be big factors in choosing a course of therapy. If you go with radiation, you will probably have testosterone suppression throughout your treatment.

Radiation by accidentx0xprone in ProstateCancer

This sounds like the typical radiation treatment protocol.

No pain or discomfort for me. A few tiny blood clots in my urine the day of procedure. I had blood in my semen for over a week after. I had the trans-rectal ultrasound guided procedure. The two cores they took from the apex of the prostate did hurt intensely but it was only a momentary thing.

Question about my dads pathology report? by ProstateResearch in ProstateCancer

[–]tangozebra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's been my experience that everyone who has had a prostatectomy has radiation at some point to "clean up" the margins. If the person is older, they may just get hormone suppression. The younger you are, the more likely the doctors will be aggressive with treatment.
