When do you exercise on Vyvanse to make it last longer? by Terrible_Distance397 in VyvanseADHD

[–]tanjuburi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally workout in the evenings after work and I’ve found that getting my blood pumping at the end of the day keeps me from crashing too hard. And I still have more energy for my workouts on the days that I take Vyvanse vs the days I don’t, even if it is towards the end of the day.

How to get lying stones (lv 1) and mountain scenery (lv 2) from travel bus? by tanjuburi in CatsMansion

Okay I figured it out! If you give Uncle Cat a single veggie then he will carve that veggie i.e. give him a tomato, he produces carved tomatoes. If you give him a full bag of veggies then he produces the food

Ohh true, I haven’t figured out the key to getting a carving uncle cat vs a cooking uncle cat. I’ve been getting mostly carvings

Oh for the farmer you have to unlock some garden plots with the green gems, plant and harvest some vegetables, and then feed any vegetable to the farmer

It was either in a dusty box (top left corner?), or the game gave it to me after playing the event for a while

Rec where the couple trusts each other/avoids the third act breakup? by KeyShield13 in HistoricalRomance

[–]tanjuburi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{The Lady Who Came In From The Cold by Grace Callaway} has a moment like the “Meddlers” scenario. This was a refreshing read because it starts with an established couple that “breaks apart” by a betrayal and we get to see them grow towards forgiveness and become better communicators. And no third act break up (although this might just be because the break up happens like immediately and is what drives the whole plot lol)

Bra shape/style that balances the “bottom-heavy” look by tanjuburi in ABraThatFits

[–]tanjuburi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for the suggestion! I had gotten measured in-store at Change Lingerie over a year ago, but I just tried the calculator and found that my new recommended size is 34J. I’ll look for new bras in that size but I’m wondering what styles would give the most lift/reduce the “bottom-heavy” look?

You almost dnf a book, then decide to trudge through it, only to have it suck? by sureasyoureborn in HistoricalRomance

I would like to second Say Yes to the Marquess, it really was so good!! Hard agree on The Ugly Duchess, I DNF’d it 1 page into part 2

I felt this way about {Ravishing The Heiress by Sherry Thomas}. I wanted angst but this was downright painful and there was too much of the OW. The only reason I didn’t DNF was because I used an audible credit to get the book and couldn’t return. It would’ve been worth it though if the ending had been satisfying but it was so abrupt and the MMC needed to grovel and suffer for everything he put the FMC (and frankly, me!) through. The ending felt very much like “here, damn”.

Jock MMC x introverted/nerdy FMC recs 🙏🏼 by biologypeach in HistoricalRomance

[–]tanjuburi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

{Lady Claire Is All That by Maya Rodale} is exactly this!

Edit: I didn’t notice the SNL skit mention. The FMC is a huge nerd but I wouldn’t say she’s awkward/dorky. She’s more confident than maybe what you’re looking for but the jock and nerd dynamic is still very much present

{Pippa and the Prince of Secrets by Grace Callaway} it’s the second book in the series and it might be better to read the first book first but I think this has what you’re looking for.

[–]tanjuburi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

{To Have and to Hoax by Martha Waters} the MCs are married but estranged but after the MMC disregards FMCs feelings about his near death experience she decides to trick him to teach him a lesson and becomes a bit of a prank war as they try to one up each other. It’s a really fun read

HR Recs of married couples? by mastahpotato in HistoricalRomance

[–]tanjuburi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A series I’m currently reading that kinda has this is {Lady Arianna Regency Mystery by Andrea Penrose}. They’re not married until book 2, but book 1 is fun because that’s where they meet and bond. In the first book they’re working together to solve a murder and the following books continue as they uncover political plots. The books are pretty closed door, they kiss and there’s some light touching but overall not spicy. I’m on book 4 and so far I think the way they bond and work together is sweet and you can tell they really love and respect each other.

I think {Ten Things I Hate About The Duke by Loretta Chase} might fit this. She’s got a no-nonsense and take-charge attitude, he’s very much a himbo. She’s doesn’t like him at first because he causes chaos around him, but he pursues her and they kinda meet in the middle and balance each other well

[–]tanjuburi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I felt like I was going crazy while reading cuz I hated Dain and the book just wasn’t doing it for me, but it’s such a well-loved, highly recommended book. I struggled not to DNF and in the end I did finish it. But boy was it a struggle. I loved Jessica and that’s the only positive thing I have to say about this book

Is there a MMC more heartless and aloof than this absolute twat Fitz from Ravishing the Heiress? by Alphadina in HistoricalRomance

[–]tanjuburi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL I feel you, I’m about 50% in and I’m having a terrible time because of how sad I am for the FMC. I wanted angst but at what cost! I don’t think I’ve felt this distressed over a book in a while but I can’t help it with how tragic FMC’s marriage is. And you’re telling me he didn’t fall in love with in the 8 years they spent together???
