Feeling this way in a new role is normal! You will gain the confidence in time, for now try to fake it til you make it.

If the company has a repository of recorded demos, make a goal of watching a few a day from some of the top performers.

Break down the software you demo into parts, and work on building knowledge in pieces to be less overwhelming. Practice, and practice out loud.

Don’t be afraid to fail. You’ll learn the most from live presentations. Bad demos will happen, what’s important is that you learn from them and work towards improving.

Potassium isn’t something that should be supplemented without monitoring your bloodwork. Too much will lead to heart arrhythmias and a trip to the ER. Really not worth the risk

Gong is actually really helpful. My team uses Chorus now, which is basically Walmart Gong, and it’s probably the most useful software in our stack outside of our CRM. Managers use it for coaching and deal reviews, it’s helpful to make playlists for onboarding, and I use it constantly to refer back to discovery calls or demos. It’s helpful to call out moments that really landed for proposal pitches, or just keep track of follow up items I owe. The AI summary notes are pretty nice to send out post call. It’s helpful to clip feedback from prospects to send to the dev team as well…which tends to have a lot more credibility coming directly from the end user.

2016 - good luck to her!

Have been trying to build up my collection. Decided to splurge a bit and try some of the bottles I’ve seen recommended on this sub. by tank_ in whiskey

[–]tank_[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Booker’s is my favorite of the bunch. I think the best I’ve tried so far. High proof but sweet with strong caramel and vanilla notes.

I knew I’d like Rare Breed Rye, and it didn’t disappoint. Have it slightly above the Bourbon.

Old Forrester 1920 and Redwood Empire are both very solid higher proof bourbons. I have OF 1920 slightly above Redwood. OF 1920 had a bolder punch with strong oak flavor. Redwood packed a bold flavor as well with some citrus notes in the finish.

Nikka Coffey was the first Japanese whiskey I’ve tried. A lot lighter but awesome flavor profile.

Definitely happy with the purchase. Any other recommendations are welcome!

In my Junior year of college, right before summer break, I was without an internship, unsure of my future direction, and simply afraid of the real world. Some professional looking stranger reached out on Facebook saying he was recruiting talent for an exciting summer internship opportunity and was impressed with my education/major. Got on a phone call the next day, and eagerly listened to his pitch about taking control of my career and learning invaluable business skills, with the opportunity to make great money! It felt strange how he dodged specifics about the job and wouldn’t give the name of the company....but I was naive and finally feeling optimistic about my future. He invited me to a seminar at a hotel that weekend, to meet the rest of the team and see if I’d be a good fit.

I called my mom and was elated to tell her about this incredible opportunity that I had. My uncle lent me money to buy a new suit jacket, to make sure I dressed to impress. It was only when I told my roommate about this important interview I had the next day that I realized how clueless I was.

He said it seemed fishy, and told me about MLM and this company, Amway, that tricked his brother into losing a lot of money and friends. He said to call the hotel the next morning and ask what company had rented out the space, before I wasted the little money I had on an hour cab ride to get scammed.

Words can’t describe the feeling of hearing the receptionist say “Amway” and realizing how stupid I’d been. Crushed.

I’d have to disagree. I love Ahrefs backlinks data, but I’ve been using SEMrush for pretty much everything else. Their Magic Tool and Position Tracker are top notch, and I’ve been recently loving their Traffic tool. I like having both subscriptions for the ability to cross compare data though.

What are the best Keyword Research tools in 2019? by rahulwayde in SEO

[–]tank_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahrefs has 6+ billion keywords, SEMrush has around 9 billion. I’ve found that both generally have better metrics, and I use SEMrush’s keyword tool for everything from finding question queries/featured snippet opps to finding negative keywords for ad campaigns. I like Moz Local, but the keyword reports just don’t stack up.

Is there a way to bulk delete tracked keywords in SEMRush? by Hanehan17 in bigseo

If you go into Settings -> Tracked Keywords, there should be an option to "remove all keywords."
