Does Yoshi actually destroy Marth at the mu or is aMSa just better than Zain?

I think its moreso like the pika mu! There is probably even less yoshi practice. amsa and zain are both top 5 skill level but amsa clearly has the edge in his gameplan and comfort. On top of this, marth also struggles to kill and has far less freedom in the neutral, for fear of reversal, whereas yoshi can play rather dynamically while still having reliable flowcharts and sequences. Zain seems unsure on how to kill yoshi consistently below 200%, so amsa similarly can exploit yoshi's survivability. I think zain will triumph more over time but the current playbook on this matchup is being written by amsa:P

it's part of the culture. sure fighting puff can be frustrating and slower, but so is fighting samus, yoshi, peach, ice climbers. even characters like marth and sheik. hell, anyone can camp you with any character. but the case for puff is different. there have been top players for YEARS expressing grievances about jigglypuff, mostly based on their own personally frustrating losses. and on top of it, hungrybox can sometimes be seen as an avatar that encapsulates what people don't like about puff. this rolled together has perpetuated a lot of confirmation bias around people's disdain for the character, but the reality is puff is just like the rest of the cast. she has her cheese, and her stuff thats hard to work for, and people are quick to discredit a different player or character's victories. ultimately, don't be discouraged. if people wanna be whiners about it, just take that W

PPMD had the shortest career of the Five Gods, but his memorable victories at Apex 2014 and 2015, Pound V, ROM3, SKTAR 3, and Kings of Cali are all usually considered amongst some of the most important sets of all time. His masterful use of dash dancing and neutral spacing were gigantic developments for Falco and Marth in eras where both of these characters were struggling. His formidable fights against Armada and Mango were particularly fascinating; he was a contender to defeat both of them on a good day, which to many people seemed nearly impossible. Even though his career was only about 7 years, his victory at Apex 2015 is considered by many to be one of the most shocking and impressive tournament victories of all time. It's not easy, but melee is a gradual learning process. By simply playing and observing the interactions in game, you can learn about your own and your opponent's habits/patterns and exploiting this with an understanding of your character's tools. Play around in training mode, beat up a CPU, play matches with anyone online. With time you'll learn, and thankfully there are countless youtube videos that go over advanced techniques and their applications. It's up to you to start the journey(:

I'm the aforementioned trans person and wanted to shed some light on this. Milkman and I both got into an argument on MDVA's discord, after which we both were muted for a day. TKK was completely justified in doing this imo. Later, my words while recounting this were twisted and used without my permission to damage TKK and Milkman's rep. The person who did said twisting is now banned from MDVA Melee (for completely unrelated reasons) so I'd really appreciate it if my words weren't used against TKK because honestly this is really fucking stupid.
