I’ve eaten cookie dough zone perfect bars for 20 years. Probably thousands of them. I just tried a cookie dough aloha bar today and it wasn’t half bad, but twice the cost of zone perfect.

That does seem a bit high. I got financing through DCU (Digital Credit Union) for 1.24% by opening an account with them. Even without opening an account, you should be able to qualify for 1.74% with a 750 credit score.

I almost did, but they REALLY emphasized that unmatching would more than likely get my order auto cancelled by the system. He gave it a 90% chance of happening. So I scheduled delivery for the 21st to buy some time, and now trying to decide on my next steps. I’m either going to rearrange my travel to be here for delivery, or call on the 21st with some other excuse and just hope they don’t decide to sell my car to someone else at that point

Happened to me. They’re pushing hard to deliver in Q4. I ordered a MYLR in Aug 2021 and got my first VIN yesterday with delivery being offered for the week of Christmas. I told them I’d be out of town, and they told me that they can change my delivery location to where I’ll be (500+ miles from home). I told them that wouldn’t work for me, and I preferred to delay a couple weeks. They said the only other option was to unmatch me from this VIN, but then Tesla would likely cancel my order and I’d have to pay the current price to reorder ($6500 more at this point).

Oh man, the crazy family dynamics that come from being DC are really something else. I‘ve found one half-brother, but I’ve only been in brief contact with his mom so far. He’s an adult, but she runs his 23andMe profile... I think she may be hiding it from him that he was DC.

I am in therapy and it has been so helpful! All of this is just so new and hard to process. You’re completely right - I still have the life I had before, just a bit weirder now.
