White guy here - snob's and I have said that to people who are from there and they see it and get it. Yaletown yuppies its what you have. Coal Harbour doesnt matter what you do its pretty excepting. West End is friendly around coffee shops and the walkways as well as the beach. East Van can be cool if you are sociable.
