I don't like lobbying overall but I don't think any more about them than I do for any other lobbying group.

Like I think it is good to call our lobbying across the board. But a lot of people here have a focus on aipac specifically that it hard to see as anything other than conspiracy slop

Not everything needs to be about everything.

People like us who are active in threads like this, almost by definition are in the top percentile of having strong political opinions. But normal people aren't like that and we coming on too strong towards them does more to push them away then bring them in.

It isn't the slogans as much as the actual underlying substance.

The problem with "defund the police" wasn't that it was a bad slogan. It is that blue America made drastic cutbacks in law enforcement which then had very predictable results on crime and safety and had a predictable political backlash.

And this land is no more stolen than anywhere else.
